We went to Albion for our honeymoon. More or less the third day we were at the hotel, both our shoes were stolen, what a mess as you don’t bring a spare set with you on vacation and tekkies on the beach…….not nice!!!

We reported it to Julie the relationship officer, and she was dragging her feet. Eventually we got tired and requested to speak to the manager, Lisa. We were getting somewhere – it seems – we reported the matter to her, and went to the police station.

She assured us the insurance will take care of this. When we got back in South Africa, the insurance repudiated our claim and when we forward it to Club Med SA and Albion, they just ignore it as this is what happens and they are sorry for the loss.

Great, if we wanted to get our stuff stolen, we would not go to a 5star resort, we would have stayed in South – Africa. For every one going to Albion, if your stuff get stolen, demand immediate payment there and then, do not be as stupid as we have been thinking the insurance will pay out!!!
