The Coby television I bought is a nightmare. It can't be upgraded to the required digital because the cable ports are defective, so it is now being held together with superglue which obviously doesn't work.
Coby said it was Buy.com's responsibility to fix because that's where I bought it, and PayPal said they don't get involved in this type of dispute and I should take it up with Buy.com myself.
Buy.com said their 30 day replacement guarantee had run out a few days before, and it didn[t matter to them that the defect didn't show up until the required digital box had to be attached.
I just checked Buy.com, and they are no longer selling this model. A little too late for me, but at least they are not continuing to sell merchandise which they know is defective.
So nobody will take responsibility for it and I am left with a very expensive lemon.
