I called the office and was not told the Dr didn't arrive until 12:30. I came for my appt at 11:30 and was told I needed to wait an hour until 12:30. At 12:50, I asked one girl how much longer it would take and she said that the Dr was in the parking lot and wouldn't be long. The Dr. didn't arrive until 1:02. I got into the exam room at 1:07 (I checked). The exam consisted of putting the flat lense in front of my face and asking which line I could read and a couple questions of if the prior view was clearer or the current view. All I had to say was that I could read the bottom line. I never had to actually verify and state the letters. That was it. Then I was told it was $69 and could pay him. Thankfully, I had a coupon though he didn't know it. The exam I got was the one they always give. I've never had an exam when one eye wasn't covered, where the Dr never looked into my eyes, that I didn't have to read the letters on the chart, etc. I gave the Dr., my debit card, signed the slip, waited a short time in the retail area for him to bring my prescription and I was done. I was walking out of the store at 1:14. I was in the exam for less than 5 minutes. I was upset with having to wait, wait, & wait more so I purposely looked at my cell phone time when I asked how much longer, when the Dr. arrived, when I got into the exam room and when I was leaving the store.
The customers were more professionally dressed than the staff. One girl had a spaghetti strap, short sun dress, the two other middle eastern guys had bar clothes on including ripped, faded jeans.
