Same as the other complaints, I signed up for the "free" trial, and agreed to pay the $2.95 shipping. My products were a colon cleanse, and some acai capsules. Two weeks to the day of my order two charges should up on my bank account totaling over $170! I first call the bank and told them to stop the payments, but they said since they are still pending I had to wait till they cleared, then file a complaint. I then called the company.
Here is what you all need to know: BE FIRM AND PERSISTENT!
I told them I wanted to cancel the program, and get a full refund of the charges. They told me that I had agreed to a 14 day trial, to which I had replied I hadn't even had the product that long, but the 14 days they had counted was from when I ordered it. I kept at him, insisting that he refund my money. He finally said if I did something that they would refund 50% of the money and charge a restocking fee. I told him he hadn't given me any product for the new charges to restock, and that I only had my "free" trial, and that I now needed to speak to his supervisor. We went around for a while and he put me on hold to supposedly talk to his supervisor. He came back and said that his supervisor was on the phone, but he would go ahead and refund 85% of my money. I told him until he said he was refunding 100% of my money that I wasn't talking to him anymore, and to let me talk to his supervisor. He put me on hold again and finally came back agreeing to refund all of the new charges, and cancel me from the program.
I am convinced they do that on purpose, hoping people will give up, and just pocketing the extra money.
So the best advice is to not get involved, but if you are, call them right away, stay on them, demand to talk to a supervisor, and threaten legal action. They will come around.
