Continue to get billed for product that has been returned
I ordered the trial offer of Colon Aid 700 for $4.95. I tried to cancel this product when I saw that they billed me $88.97. I called and spoke with someone and they said they would cancel further shipments. Guess What, they are still billing me $88.97 a month. I have spoke with my bank and credit card company. I have to pay $27.00 to STOP payment with my bank. I have filed a complaint with the better buisness bureau. What else can I do?

unauthorized
I would like to send this product back that has not been opened and get my money back. The only money I authorized to be taken out of my account was for the shipping and handling of the free trial. This company not only took money out for shipping and handling they took out $88.97 on 1-20-09 for another shippmenet. I have emailed this company but get no response.

Thank you

over charged
I was also under the asumption that it was a free trial, all of a sudden I get another bill for $88.97 plus $5.99 and $1.00 I called and they said they shipped another order of which I did not receive and to go to their support sight that does not appear to help anyone but other ads and complaints, something needs to be done with this Rip off Co. Istill can't figure out how to get my money back other than a Lawyer. Julie in Grt Falls, Mt

Here is what you can do about this scam!!
I did not realize I was going to be enrolled in a subscription program (definitely was not very clear on their website). When I received 2 bottles and a hefty $88.97 charge (I mean come on, who pays 88 dollars for colon pills), I returned the un-opened bottles and asked for a refund. They would not give me a refund. Any reputable company is going to give a refund for returned un-opened products. Anyway, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and now I don't have to pay. I suggest othes do the same and not let these people take advantage of us!

False advertizing
Free trial period is a joke, my card was charged and I was put on an automatic shipping program, I requested to return the unopened and unused product for a refund of $88.97 and I was denied. I now have to cancel my card and get a new one just in case they didn't take me off the shipping program when I called to cancel! This product and website is a fraud and has bad business ethics! Can anyone suggest any other ways or means to report this company or get my money back???

On January 19th a shipment of Colon Aid 700 was mailed to me. It was rightfully sent, but I cancelled shipment of the product and wanted to send back the unopened bottles (2) for reinbursement. I was informed that I should contact you via e-mail with my request. Could you contact me at my e-mail, [email protected], with your response. Sincerely, Yvette Gaston

colon aid
It wasn't even 15 days before I received another supply for a month. I only wanted to try it for the free trial period. Please contact me! I no longer want your product.

Illegal charge to my Credit Card
I sucked into the ads for AcaiBerry and ColonAid700 - both of which are part of a larger internet scheme, by a growing number of companies to trap consumers.

Here's the deal. They advertise a "Free Trial" of their product, but you have to pay the shipping charges. If, you like their product, you will continue to receive another order and they will charge your credit card. You are free to cancel at any time. But, what happens is this.

You are so comfortable with a free trial period, that you don't read all the fine print and believe me - it's hard to find. What it says is that you have 15 days from the date your ordered your fFREE TRIAL to cancel any additional orders. You also have to look really hard to find the amount they are going to charge your credit card and be careful, because it can sometimes be 2x's the amount - more hard to find fine print.

I ordered both the AcaiBerry and the Colonaid700 at the same time. I have confirmation emails on both products dated January 9, 2009. I receive the ColonAid700 within about 1 week, so there is only a few days left to cancel. I'm sure these company's count on the cancellation period being so short that most people forget it or in the case of the AcaiBerry, my cancellation period would have expired before I even received the product!

And, I do not receive the AcaiBerry until January 24th - which is the last day I have to cancel receiving more of both products! I later find out that it was shipped outside the US and my Credit Card was charge an additional exchange fee. The "invoice" that comes with the AcaiBerry is a little more informative, but the one that comes with the Colonaids is so basic, I still do not know how much this stuff is - even if I did want to order more.

I realize that today (Saturday -January 24th) is the 15th day from my order date, so I email both companys and cancel any and all further orders. I also check my bank account for any hits from these companies on my VISA and sure enough - there is a charge sitting out there waiting to come through. I am shocked!!! I mean today (Saturday -January 24th) is the 15th day and already someone is hitting my charge card.

Okay, so on Monday I figure that my bank account will have that charge GONE, because I cancelled both these products in time. WRONG! The AcaiBerry people didn't charge me, but the ColonAid700 guys did! Now I have started the nightmare of trying to get them to give me back the $88.97 they illegally took out of my account!

I have sent them copies of both emails - the January 9, 2009 confirmation of my order and the January 24, 2009 cancellation of any future orders. They are jacking me now and keep replying to me with statements that say, I was not withing the 15 day period!

I willl go to my bank tomorrow and start a disbute to try and get my money back this way. In the mean time I have filed a complaint with the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection and Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). And, I will make it my "hobby" to find as many sites like "Complaints Board" to tell my story on and try and keep others from ordering these products and many like them.
