Rip Off
I ordered it at the end of July. Saw 2 charges on my bank account for $4.95. A week later the $4.95 charges were gone. On 08/05/09 another $4.95 charge was posted on my account. On 08/12/09 or 08/13/09 I received my package which said on it I was not allowed to ship it back that there are no returns. I have had the product one week and I now have an $83.95 charge on my check card account. I cancelled my visa check card and another will be sent HOWEVER!, (Wells Fargo, I don't know about the others) Any account withdraw agreement you had prior with the old card your account will still be charged. I will close my account tomorrow and then call them to dispute this crap!
Man these people must own a nice private island.

exchange fee and fraud billing
I purchased colon cleanse 3000 on July 17 and was charged the shipping rate of $4.95 to my debt card. I then found out I was pregnant so I couldn't take the pills. My husband tried to take them but he became very ill. When I received the product there was no billing information or contact information inclosed so I wasn't sure how to cancel the trial until it was too late. Thus they charged me $83.95 on July 29, 2009. I did not dispute this charge because I felt it was my fault for not canceling. Then on August 14, 2009 they charged my account $88.90 (which of course throw off my checking account). I called them immediately to cancel the membership and stop shipment of any future orders. At which time, the supervisor tried to talk me out of canceling and then stated that they do not refund. I became upset and told her that I had not received the product nor did I want the product to be sent to my home and she told me "too late, you should have read all the terms and conditions carefully." I had read them and I did not recall ever reading anything about no refund. I had recalled reading that if I didn't cancel in 14 days that I would be charged the full price for the trial sample. I also recalled that if I wasn't satisfied I could return the product for a refund. She state that was only for the trial not for any other order shipped after the trial period was up. Needless to say, I was unable to get any monies back. I had to go down to my bank and file fraud charges and cancel my accounts. My husband called them too, thinking maybe he could get somewhere and talked to an employee named "Will". "Will" Stated that there was nothing he could do to issue a refund because it was "company policy that they charge for purchases." and that I "should have read the terms and conditions" which have changed since original purchase. He kept stating over and over that company policy dictates "no refunds." Buyers beware!!!

FALSE advertising and fraudulent fees on credit card
On July 23/2009 To the right of my e-mail was a testimonial ad from a woman in Reno claiming how great the Akai berry combined with the colon cleanse helped her lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks. The ad went on to say that you could try these products FREE for 30 days. Sounded like a good deal, so I ordered the FREE 30 day trial, I paid the .99 cent delivery fee for the Akai Berry and the 4.95 delivery for the colon cleanse. The next day I received a phone call verifying my order. Amy the representative stated that after 30 days if I did not cancel they would send another bottle and my credit card would be charged 83.00. She gave me a number to call for cancelation and that I should receive my product the 28th of July. I received the 2 products August 10th and today is August 12th. I received a telephone call from my credit card company the evening of August 11th saying that they thought there was some fraudulent use of my credit card, the representative stated that colon cleanse had charged my credit card 83.00 which they accepted, but when the Akai company tried to charge the same a red flag came up and they refused the charges and notified me that I should call these company's. The morning of August 12th I called colon cleanse to cancel and have the 83.00 credited to my credit card, they REFUSED saying they have a NO REFUND POLICY, when I inquired about the 30 FREE trial they said it was 14 days NOT 30. And was told that must have been a different company that I ordered from and when I asked why then was this company charging me anything at all, I was told that that OTHER company gave this company my order. I haven't even had a chance to see if the product is effective or not as I only received it 2 days ago.Now if I want a refund, which I do, .I have to wait for my telephone bill, then fax the telephone # verifying that I had a conversation with the representative and send a tape of the conversation I had with Amy the representative that I talked to on the 24th of July. Now I don't have a tape of the conversation, why would I ? This is in my opinion, FALSE Advertising, and a fraudulent way to trap a consumer. When I called to cancel the Akai Berry the representative said " There is nothing Free" when I said, then this is false advertising and that the word FREE should be taken out of their ads, he responded " No, because you can cancel " But I was deceived because I thought I had 30 days ( instead of 14) to try the product. Ordered Product did not come on time and charged my card anyway
Ordered a free trial it didn't come in the mail when it was suppost to. When I called to cancel I noticed they had charged my account anyway for $87.13. When I asked why my account had been charged they said they couldn't give me a refund, but they would cancel my order so that I would not get charged anything further. Gee that really helps alot!

Fraudulent advertising
Ordered product and advertising stated free trial only pay shipping and handling. Bank account debited for over $80.00. This company and Acai Berry Breeze in cahoots with each other. Though different contact numbers you receive the same voice message, wait time over ten minutes, experiencing an unusally high call volume.
