I ordered Acai Berry Detox (Ultimate Fat Burner) and Colon Cleanse on a 15 day free trial on the internet. Several days later, I received a telephone call from one of their telemarketers making reference to my order and apparently looking to increase my order. During the conversation, the gentleman said that my credit card was being charged for my order at which point I said that I was under the impression that I was receiving a FREE TRIAL. He said, "No, this is a monthly auto-ship program and my credit card would be charged each month." At that point, I told him to cancel my order and stop all future transactions and he indicated that he would fulfill my request. A week or so later, a shipment arrived in the U.S. mail. Now, yesterday, a second shipment arrived in the mail and when I called their "customer service" toll-free number I was told that they never call customers on marketing calls and that I had to send an email requesting cancellation of my account. I was given a customer ID # to refer to in my letter. In my letter, I demanded that they cancel my account immediately, send me return of products instructions, and credit my credit card account of record for both shipments. They have responde to me that I should have read the fine print in their agreement which states that all transactions need to be canceled within 15 days of ordering the free trial. My phone cancellation ( which was within 15 days of the order) was never fulfilled as requested and they refuse to credit my credit card!
It is my opinion that a Class Action Law Suit should be initiated against Max Colon!!
