Abusive Customer service rep (operator BZB)
Long Term Comcast loyal customer verbally abused & refused service infront of coworker and other customers at local office in Marshfield, Ma by an immature customer rep (operator BZB)

On July 1, 2011 I had an upsetting experience here while paying my bill. There was an error on my balance, (recently downsized services & had credit which wasn't reflected on bal. due.) The male service rep (operator BZB) approached me at the counter. Barely a moment after I inquired about the error he rudely replied : "I'm not going to spend an hr w you!' He went on to say 'last time I spent 55 min with you & later you complained about me.' I stood there stunned as he insulted me w a coworker & customers present. Refusing me service, he made me get in the other rep's line. Evidently he held a grudge against me (the consumer) for wasting his time the prior month ! Yes, I spent time reviewing options, figuring out which services to change etc. I turned in cable boxes for free adapters to save $. Once home, the CC tech dept couldn't activate them (operator BZB failed to enter needed codes, ) causing us a loss of cable for 2 days! Who should be mad over wasted time & mistreatment???

Bad picture
I have had techs come out twice because of "tiling" or pixelation issues, freezing picture, "blinking" where screen goes dark and picture comes up again, or skipping audio and picture (sound repeats as if stuck). They have replaced cable, cable box and connectors. Still not working right. People all over CA are experiencing this same problem, so it can't be all OUR fault. I want cable to ask themselves if their new digital migration might have a glitch.

Billing errors
In Sept. 2010, Comcast overbilled my account for 3 times their new normal basic cable fee ( 3 x $49.99= $49.97). They charged me 3 x $ 49.99 for 3 cable boxes. I called and spoke with Shannon on 9/13/10. Shannon said that a mistake had been made on my bill. He told me it was not right that I was being billed 3 times the basic service charge for 3 cable boxes. I told Shannon that I had not received any notice from Comcast that they were going to do this. Shannon told me to pay $20..01 for my Sept. Bill. I paid the amount Shannon instructed me to pay, and on my Oct. bill, I noticed that I was still being overcharged at 2 times the 49.99 charge. Shannon told me on 9/13/10 that I would receive a credit for $196.73 on my Oct. bill. I only received a credit for $98.37. Comcast is now saying I am delinquent in paying these unpaid past due overage amounts. They are saying I have to pay a 10% penalty on the unpaid amount. My current bull is now $250.85. My previous monthly bills for both basic cable and basic internet service was raised in June 2010 from $77.57 to $109.07 a month. Comcast did not provide me any notice on this monthly payment change. Now it looks like they are trying to double my rate withought proper explanation again. As Comcast originally admitted that the overcharging on my account was their error, they need to fix the error and correct my current bill.

Garbeled transmission
Sunday morning January 10, 2010 Meet the Press was so garbeled it was unwatchable but when the CBS Football show started it cleared up right away! If enough people complain maybe we can at least get CBS advertisers pull the plug!

there making me pay $800 to move there box out of my yard
My complaint is that COMCAST CABLE TV has a service box in my back yard right on the easement but in my back yard and everything goes wrong they come and go at any given time accross my yard, without even asking just come in on my property and spend hours fixing nothing when i am laying out sunbathing they come in and out, in and out all day for nothing.So i asked the guy that lives behind me that has comcast cable if he could get the cable service box in his yard would it be ok with him and he said yes that would workout because every time they would just come over to his place and fix whatever problem's.So i ask Comcast because i have never used there service before but they have the box in my yard could they move the cable repair box and move it over to the guy's yard and with the owner standing here and he is saying its fine if you guy's move what he has cable with.Pete/Norman Bell with Comcast said that they can relocate this for a charge of $800 and $100 per foot.What my problem is, is that i do not have comcast nor will i ever have comcast so why are they charging me when its a free service for anyone else...Why are they going to charge me when they use my yard at anytime they feel like coming in my yard when my girl and my wife and i are outside sunbathing here they all come...I am tired of the mess...I don't know these guys.My girl said that one of the guys was asking her questions about her number or something like that and ever since this time i have been very mad but i don't think that i have to pay to remove cable tv from my property and i am the property owner...PLEASE SOMEONE READING THIS PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I REALLY GET SUPER MAD.BEFORE I MESS UP SOMEONE TALKING TO MY GIRL SHES ONLY 10 AND LOOKS 14 WHEN SHES SUN BATHING IN HER BACK YARD...

Never met such an incompetent bunch of people as Comcast Cable TV!
I have never met such an incompetent bunch of people as Comcast Cable TV. I am forever having to call them to fix their poor service in my North Dallas area. Each time I call it take at least an hour, sometimes two or three before they answer the phone. Try and order a new service and they pick the call immediately!

They can never fix the problem without an in-home visit. That just confirms to the technician that I wasn't lying and that the reception is really bad. They then go somewhere to their systems to fix the problems. Why do I have to take a day off work just so they can fix their lousy service. They never compensate me for the loss of service, even though I may be inconvenienced for up to a week.

Comcast has a monopoly in Dallas, and I am sick of it. Give them some competition and they would probably shape up.
