Comcast technicians stinks
Comcast technicians stinks - If I worked my job the way they are allowed I would be fired before the cob. How can u get a window of 5pm - 8pm. the technician shows up at 5:15, then leaves - you show up at 5:18pm call him and he gone home for the day. so who's covering that 5 - 8 window you had?

Again, comcast stinks!!!

rebate offers
the rebates offered are not honored. they ask for info. on the rebate forms that is impossible to obtain; you have to jump through hoops to comply; and then you receive an e-mail giving you 7 days to return the requested info. which is again impossible to obtain; you have to re-submit late forms with partial info. that the call center says will do; which does;nt then you say it is;nt worth it and are screwed . you not only do not get a refund but your printer now needs ink; you need to see a therapist for all the stress you have incrued trying to comply; countless stamps and envelopes stuffed with proof of's will reaquaint you with the postal service and your will to live will expire!!! at this point you will gladly pay full price ;or what ever they say it will cost; just to end the games; and take back the couple of hours a day; for the past several weeks; you have lost. in hind sight i would rather pay more for less ;and i am a poor penny pincher; allways looking for the best available deal. I WAS SCREWED; AS YOU ALSO WILL BE; if you sign up for comcast!!! my deepest regrets.; and good luck; you'll need it!

Fraud
My TV stations began to disappear, a notice came onto my TV telling me that I needed a digital box in order to see these channels, a phone number and website appeared www.comcast.com/digitalnow. I called the number, I was told that I could pick up a new digital box at my local Comcast office, I asked if I needed to bring the old box with me, I was told "no", I asked if I would now have to pay more or would I still be allowed to keep my original Basic service which I know was no longer offered, I was told everything would stay the same that it was just a matter of exchanging my box. A few days later my husband went to the local Comcast building on Delaware Ave., they said he did need the old box to exchange for the new. He returned home, brought the old for the new. Came home and set up the new box, the same message appeared. He then phoned Comcast, where they proceeded to tell him that we need to upgrade in order to get TV. We were totally scammed. I am canceling and changing to either Fios, a cable cord or nothing ... who needs the boob tube any way?

Comcast online service was not able to close order beacause error in system - they send me to store - store have different prices than web - I have to pay $3.00 more per month - ok. Tech show up to install cable card - card not working for some reason - I agree to have box. He install box but not compatible with HD signal but I ordered HD TV package!?. Call again - they promise - first HD box free, scheduled another app. When second tech show up he had "service call" only in work order. He called dispatch and they offer HD box for $9.99 for month. I called cust. service again they confirmed - 1st box free but when they transfer me to tech support they no nothing about and they can install HD box for $16.99 fee + $9.99 per month. It's worst than communism - communist's at least had no computers or technology. What is going on?

Horrible Follow through on resolving problems
This is the worst follow through on service complaints. A service rep was sent to change out my cable box and broke my Television. So he said that he couldn't find the power cable and he would be back with one. After we didin't hear anything for a few days, and being without service we decided to plug the cable directly into tv. That is when we discovered the back cables had been yanked out. We called in the situation on the 17th of January. It is now March the 14th and after hours on the phone with Comcast and numerous promises to get someone out to repair the problem, and many days of waiting for a promised rep to arrive, there has not been anyone to show up yet. One escalations rep has e-mailed many of her superiors and still no follow through. I work from home and use that area to show informational DVD's to clients...so this is now over two months that I have not been able to do so. If service is what you are looking for, or expecting when you pay your high monthly bill...there no words to express my deepest sympathies for you, because this is beyond frustration.

HORRIBLE SERVICE
I CALLED TO GET NEW SERVICE AND THE REP DID WHAT SHE WAS SUPPOSE TO I ASKED HER WHAT WILL I REQ. WHEN THE TECH GETS HERE, SHE STATED ONLY A MONEY ORDER FOR THE AMOUT SHE INDICATED! WHEN THE REP ARRIVED HE SAID HE REQ A ID WHICH IN MY CASE WAS A PROBLEM DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE COPS PULLED ME OVER AND TOOK MY LICENSE! SO I HAVE A TICKET AS PROOF OF MY ID WHICH HE STATED WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! WHEN I CALED THE REP SHE STATED SHE DIDNT KNOW WHY HE DIDNT TAKE IT BCAUSE IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH. SO SHE SET ME UP FOR ANOTHER DATE. THEN I REC A CALL STATING THAT I WAS UNABLE TO GET MY SERVICE HOOKED UP AGAIN DUE TO A PRE PAYMENT NOT BEING PAID. SO I CALLED ANOTHER SERVICE REP. AND HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS. WHICGH I STATED TO HER I DIDT PAY A PREPAYMENT THE FIRST TIME THE TECH CAME OUT SO Y THE SECOND TIME UR TELLING ME THAT WITH OUT PREPAYMENT THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT!? DOESNT MAKE SENSE AND STILL TILL THIS DAY I HAVENT HAD ANYH HELP TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!! THIS IS SO FRUSTERATING!

THE WORST COMPANY EVER
I CANCELLED MY SERVICE AND HAD EVERYTHING SWITCHED OVER TO QUEST IN NOVEMBER 2009. cOM AST REFUSED TO PICK UP THE INTERNET MODEM. THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME 700 DOLLARS FOR CONTINUED SERVICE THAT WE NO LONGER HAD AND THE FEE OF THE MODEM. wHEN WE CALLED TO WORK OUT THIS ISSUE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE THE NUMBER TO THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE SAYING THEY DONT HAVE ONE. I AM MILITARY JUST RETURNING FROM IRAQ AND URGE ALL MILITARY FAMILIES AND ANYONE ELSE TO STOP USING COMCAST. YOU CAN GET BETTER SERVICE AND BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH DISH NETWORK NOT TO MENTION IT IS 20 DOLLARS CHEAPER A MONTH. THE FINAL STRAW WAS THAT THE COMCAST INSTALLER CAIM OUT TO MY HOUSE WHILE I WAS ASLLEP TO CHECK THE DISCONNECTION AND LET MY DOGS OUT OF THE BACK YARD TO ROAM THE NEIGHBORHOOD. I TOOK ME 3 HOURS TO FIND THEM. N WHEN I CALLED TO INFORM THEM ABOUT THIS INCIDENT THEY SAID AND i QUOTE " WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT" PLEASE HELP YOURSELF AND STOP USING COMCAST.

Fraudulent Billing
In Dec 2009 after paying final bill with comcast they proceded to send a bill to collections for a modem I owned bought at Best Buy. They never contacted me over this. Instead I found out from a collections agency phone call. Upon calling comcast they eventually backed off when shown evidence and promised issue would be fixed. After 4 phones to them over two months Im still being hounded by collections and comcast refusesto fix the issue they caused.

Comcast does not care about their customers
Everyone needs to stop paying Comcast and go to satellite tv. The customer service lady I spoke with yesterday was incredibly rude and condescening - she kept asking me if I was going to care about signing a year's contract with DirectTv. Really? When they are going to save me $ 60 per month? When I asked Comcast to try and help me out and keep me as a customer? They did not seem to care at all. This, after I was also willing to go to the Digital Voice and Internet with them...they lost all of that business and did not blink an eye.

intermittent cable/no service
subscribed to comcast cable tv for $65.00 a month. for the last 8 months, EVERY single day/night, the picture would be "pixeled" and the sound going in and out!! called comcast, they would reset my cable box. "did that help?"
"no" "well we can send someone out to take a look" "will there be a charge?" "yes, $28.00" I always refused. why should I pay you $28.00 more dollars to come out and make sure YOUR product is working properly!!!

So...in January, I had to take a day and a half off of work (unpaid) to have oral surgery. This made my paycheck a little smaller, which is a big deal. i.e. my rent is $630.00 and my paycheck was $636.00. So I decided to not pay comcast for that month but would pay them with my Feb. 15th paycheck. They called me relentlessly and each time I told them I would pay them on the 15th. On Feb. 15th, before 10a.m. my cable was shut-off. THE DAY I SAID I WOULD PAY THEM, THEY SHUT ME OFF!! So I called them and told them to come get their equipment!
Which they did. I was so angry that I did not pay them on the 15th because they are such greedy ******, and the fact that for 8 months the quality of their product was **** and wouldn't fix it, so I feel I don't owe them a dime!!!
