Nothing but trouble
I have been with Comcast only 3 months, and I've already had massive problems which no one can seem to fix.
The first was the initial set up of my TV, internet, phone bundle. Not only did my service not work, but the techinician left ILLEGALLY placed wires running across all of my neighbors lawns, and plugged them into a box at the end of the street.
I called twice about this, and I was told that someone would come to fix this. No one showed up either time. Luckily an independent contractor was working on my neighbors and saw the wires and fixed them.
Now, my On Demand has not been working for a month. I had a technician come and look at it finally and I was informed it was a network problem (for a month?!) and he would call me when he knew more. It's been over a week and I haven't heard from him, and that obviously was not the situation.(which I later confirmed) He merely did not know how to fix this, and couldn't be bothered. I confirmed that there were no network problems, and the issue still hasn't been fixed.
Not only this, but every time I have to call for a technician, the phone queue is so long, that it hangs up on me, without giving me the option to wait, and tells me to use Online help. When a tech finally shows up, he has no idea what he is doing.
Do not get Comcast! They have a horrible product, even worse service, and they do not care to help their customers. They just want your money. and it's not worth it! I will continue to spread the word about this terrible company wherever I go.

Terrible customer service
It seems that it really depends who I get at Comcast as to wether or not I will get good servie. A couple of weeks ago I had issues with my phone, they sent a tech out to fix it, which he didn't, so they sent another one the next day, the problem was on the outside of my house. I then got a bill for $35.00 for the first tech that was here, even though he did not fix it, I had to beg and plead with customer service to transfer me to a supervisor, she kept telling me it wouldn't do any good that it was a legitimate charge and that I would have to be on hold for a very long time. She finally transfered me and the supervisor agreed with me and reversed the charges.
Then just this past monday I called to pay the bill and the rep that answered the phone would not put me through to collections so I could pay it, saying that I was not listed on the account. I have been listed since the day we got service, I really ended up in a screaming match with her, I hung up called back and another tech sent my right through.
Now thier tech support people are great, but all the others in billing or where ever are horrible.
As sson as ATT gets out here I will be dropping Comcast as fast as I can. I would not recommend Comcast to anyone because of the way they treat thier customers.

Worst internet possible
I agree with everything thing I've read here. I continuously call Comcast with problems left & right. I'm still working on getting a promotion for my television service, but I did manage to speak to a very nice person with the internet and got a deal there.
I could go on & on about all the problems, but here's a rundown:
-The crappy router I pay $5 a month for, continuously drops my signal. This NEVER happens anywhere else when using my laptop.
-Cable television glitches often.
-DVR becomes completely disabled and THEREFORE does not record my shows.
-Channels will temporarily be out of service.
-They LIE TO ME on the phone.
ahhhhhhhhhh... I hate Comcast!

Paid bill
A payment was made to CPA forthe amount of $150.00. In checking my credit report. The records indicate that this acount is on my report opened. I made several attempts not only to contact CPA but also comcast. All I have received is a total run around. I consider this unprofessional and poor business. Yet as a consumer they can see that they have done no wrong. I am requestng help to clear this matter asap

This service has been shut off again in the vincity of Tullel and Lockwoodridge Road again. I want an additional credit on my account!!!

Free Wii Rebate
Be wary of the comcast triple play free Wii offer. Now going on 8 weeks my information is in some sort of limbo. The rebate center still doesn't have it, but comcast claims to have forwarded it on. I been told that the Wii offer overwhelmed Comcast and they are months behind processing the rebates.

Awful experience
Comcast web site refuses to give general product information unless you enter your street address. And, you can't send comments on their web site without entering even more personal information. If you want to compare their service with others, you can't access the information. They shouldn't have an internet site that doesn't provide consumers with general price information. It isn't a safe feeling to feel forced to enter a street address.
All they should require is a zip code. If your area is blocked out of service, then there should be a notice stating the areas where service isn't available along with the product information.
The Comcast web site is very User Unfriendly.

Avoid them!
I currently have Comcast for my cable, internet, and phone service. Since signing up for their service in June of this year, I have had monthly issues and interuptions in service. To be honest, the cable is not bad. The internet and phone service is TERRIBLE! The most recent (and still occuring) issue has lasted over a week. I have been without internet and phone service for about a week. The most frustrating thing is that I work from home and rely on having reliable internet and phone service to do my job. This is a concept that apparently no one in the customer service department at Comcast can understand. I have been forced to call my cell phone provider and increase my minutes for the month in order to avoid overages. Obviously this costed me about $30.
Sick and tired of calling Comcast, I decided to start shopping the services around. AT&T has the same services and offers more perks (DVR and more channels) for the same price. Unfortunately, the Uverse system is not available where I live and I have get the aesthetically pleasing :) dish attached somewhere, but hopefully I will have reliable service.
Bottom line...STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST!

Awful company
My hd feed goes out all the time. When I call, I am on hold for at least 10 minutes (like tonight). When I finally get a customer service rep, I am offered to pay additional money to fix their product which is not working. (HD DVR box) I already pay close to $200 per month for a static-ridden phone, internet, and cable.
When I DVR shows, I go to watch them only to find out the hd feed was disrupted and they have a messed up picture and bad sound. (I have exact dates when this happened- at least four times). When you call they are incredibly rude and only want to sell you more services.

Unauthorized billing
I switched to the comcast bundle last year, ever since I did, every month my bill has been incorrect and every month I have to call and spend an hour or more on the phone trying to get it straightened out. I even had to take time off from work and spent 2 hours at their office to get it straightened out and what do you think happened the next month. 'The same thing. Now that a year has gone by my phone was termed from the bundle first... how could that be, shouldn't all of the services term at the same time? So after spending 2 hours on the phone trying to straighten out my bill again, I upgraded to the next bundle which I've had for 2 months. Since then AGAIN my bill is all screwed up where I'm being double charged and charged for a bundle I never asked for. NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT THE *** THEY ARE DOING THERE. I need someone who is in charge to help me and no one I have talked to will give me a name of a manager or someone else who has the authority to do anything to fix this mess. My bundle is suppose to be $114.98 per month, I just got a bill for $414.00... This is the worst company for customer service I have ever dealt with... DOES ANYONE HAVE A NAME OR NUMBER TO SHARE???
