Stealing my money
So if your a slacker like me and sometimes get disconnection notices from comcast, be sure to file them away. I recently had my services softly disconnected so I was receiving only basic cable. About a month later I pay the bill and have services restored. of course they will charge you as if you were receiving your full services So when I call 1800xfinity to get my bill adjusted for the time that my internet, digital cable, showtime, hbo, and phone were taken from me they could not credit my account. They could not credit my account because they never recorded a date of disconnection. The representative had no explanation of why so I threw out a date that i thought the disconnection occured. She said that I couldn't prove it. Then I had to ask how to prove it and she tells me i would have to find the disconnection notice sent to me in the mail and take it to my local office. Its the one that comes in the blue envelope. Luckily I still have it so I will be sure to request my hard earned 150 dollars that comcast attempted to swindle from me. More of the rich stealing from the poor.

BAD Service
Your service is the WORST. You constantly drop the signal, every single day and for about 10 minutes today I didn't get any premium channels.
You people need to invest in the equipment you need to keep up with today's demand - which you have FAILED to do.
I am so disgusted by your service AND your price that I have decided to change my service over to Satellite TV and you people can go suck an egg.

Billing Fees
COMCAST sales department promised free installation, free wireless router, free DTA boxes and then COMCAST billed me $200 for what I was told would be free. They read a script and never listen to people; service people/conractors are poorly trained and can't solve problems, they do not arrive in the time they say they will come, and they have a host of hidden charges for everything. The TV service is the worst I have ever had and it is off more than satelitte TV, but they still bill you. DON'T switch to COMCASt, THEIR REPS LIE!!

Horrible service
I am totally disgusted with Comcast. Since I had your “service” installed, in a change from Verizon, I probably have had a technician come five times to my home, after initial “installation, ” each time taking valuable time out of work to wait. Once, your person never showed up. I was given a $20 credit on my account for this oversight. Big deal! $20 for taking a half day off from work.
Then my first bill came and that was in total error, too. My first month, with the promotion was to be free. It took about 20 more minutes to straighten this out.
Today I spent about two hours trying to get a an technician appointment..another day off work. You care less about individual cases...you make appointments that are more or less convenient to you. You have expressed no empathy for my troubles. Each time something happens where I need service I am treated as if it is my first call.
Frankly I never should have changed from Verizon. Your service is HORRIBLE!!! I cannot believe that you have not been able to install my cable well enough for it to properly work. What is wrong with you? Total incompetence??
I am sending copies of this letter to the Office of Consumer Affairs, the Better Business Bureau, my Congressman and my Fairfax County Councilperson. I do not understand how you continually get rate increases and why you are never punished for your arrogant lack of customer service.

Steer clear of Comcast
I signed up for cable, internet, and home phone with Comcast a year ago.
There hasn't been even a single month during which all three services worked.
I've called the company at least 20 times and had at least 8 technicians and supervisors out.
Things are still not fixed.
Their telemarketing group, however, seems to be world class: they call at least once a month trying to sell me additional services, despite the fact that I can't get COMCAST to actually provide the services for which I am already paying.
A COMPANY SIMPLY CAN'T BE THIS INEPT BY ACCIDENT. STEER CLEAR OF COMCAST!!!

They have ripped me off in the most insulting manner possible
I am currently in a dispute with the Comcast-Spectacor organization regarding a refund of my tickets.
When I purchased my Philadelphia Flyers tickets last summer, my decision to do so was based on the family-friendly theme that this organization was promoting.
Their introduction of "Hooters"-like girls is hardly my idea of family-friendly. I find this promotion an absolute debasement of women and hardly what I had planned on when I signed up for season tickets. I have been complaining all season to no avail.

Poor service
This is just one complaint I have about this poorly managed company. I have several televisions in my home. I only had a digital cable box on one and I called Comcast to install another. I also have several premium packages like HBO, etc. They said they'd send someone out the following week between 8am and 11am so I took off work. No one came. I called comcast and they said the guy came by but I wasn't home. I have 2 dogs when someone comes I know. I kept calling and I was given the run around and lied to. They are supposed to credit you $20 if they miss an appointment. I didn't get that right away either. I had to call 5 times and go through a long line of incompitent employees. Need I remind you this was all to upgrade my service and pay them more money. I've had nothing but problems with this coming.

Equipment never received
I cancelled my account with Comcast in August 2009 and I am now getting calls from collection agencies telling me that I have equipment to return. I never received any equipment in the first place! The basic cable service was provided through my apartment complex so all I had to do was hook up my normal cable to the wall. NO EQUIPMENT! And of course this issue could not be resolved over the phone. I'll have to go into one of their offices to stand in a long line to talk to some person who will probably tell me once again that I need to return my equipment. This is the reason why I did not get this service again in my house. Comcast is by far the worst company I've ever been involved with, EVER!

Service/Product Reliability
I'm on day two without the premium HD channels that I'm paying for. I returned my HD/DVR box because of a problem. Returned home and followed the usual instructions to activate the box and ended up with 13 channels, note; I subscribe to their top level of programing. After working with Tech Support for over an hour I was told that I needed on site to resolve the problem as they could not communicate with the new box. Not only was my "new" HD/DVR box out of commision but the attempts to activate it KILLED my other HD box.
Well, the appointment was set for the next day betweel 11 and 2 PM, so I was told. When Comcast did not arrive by 2 PM I called to inform them. The young lady that handled my call researched wha happened and informed me that one of their customers who had no problems unexpextidely received my service call by mistake. I have nothing but praise for this Tech for remaining calm the whole time while sucessfuly calming my down in the process. My service call was rescheduled for tomorrow between 2 and 5 PM.
Now, as a "Tripple Play" custmer I have NO phone service!I went online (at least that still works) to report the problem to be told they already know about the problem. Until 3 or 4 years ago I had been with Verizon since day one and probably called them once in 30 years compared to the infeior product and support for it that I'm (we) are recieving from Comcast.
I was given a $20 dollar credit today for the blotched service call but what I would tottaly prefer would be 5 minutes in a room with the CEO of Comcast. I would stuff the 20 bucks down his throat then ask him if that was adequate compenstion for a day of his time.
Verizon looks better every day, the only t5hing holding me back is the lck of FIOS in my city which is what I will be aggresively lobying for next.
