Customer Service
I would first like to state that I usually won't result to complaints unless I am pushed to the limit! Well Comcast has pushed me past the limit with their lack of customer consideration & "mafia like" ways of doing business. Comcast has had a monopoly on the cable business for many years especially in the Detroit, MI area. The company was purchased from another local owner many years ago before I was even old enough to go drive! Comcast is gouging it's hard working customers as way over priced for their services. I patronized comcast off & on many years due to not being able to get Dish or another service due to having too many trees. I paid them on time for their services but had to call them with almost each bill to dispute unauthorized charges to my account. I had become accustomed to reviewing The BIG COMCAST BILL with a microscope due to them placing services and charges on my account that I did not authorize! I recently relocated & called Comcast to ask that my cable be disconnected. They disconnected it as I asked but gave me the " big big bang" as a departing gift: the rep told me that I should wait for the final bill to come in the mail to make payment as bill needed to be adjusted. I went to turn in the hefty priced equipment & the rep told me the same thing, "wait for the final bill to come in the mail." I provided them with my new address for forwarding the final bill & waited. Several weeks later I get a collection threat in the mail in which Mafia Comcast is the CREDITOR (should be more listed as the "Preditor"). The weird thing is, but so very Comcast like in nature, that the collection notice came to my new that I provided Comcast with but the final bill came days after forwarded from my old address, humm...?? This company never has to worry about me patronizing them with my hard earned money again! I have another cable (bundle service) company that is charging me about $150 less then Comcast was & for more services with a much crisper picture!! Good Bye and Good Riddons Comcast!
