Myself and wife booked into this hotel online. We paid a deposit and spoke to receptionist several times via email before our arrival on 30th November 2009. Email stated we were flying from sydney @ 6:40am and due to arrive aprox 8am in Adelaide.Email sent back states there is no problem for your arrival at 8am and the room will be ready. After our 2.5 hour flight and 30 min car drive we arrived @ this hotel only to be greeted with a blonde female that had just woke up on the wrong side of bed. Our documents state that we were entitlied to " A full buffet breakfast " for the time we were staying there. When we spoke to this lady she said we have to stay for one night before our breakfast is valid but it did not state this on our paperwork. When questioned politley she flew off the handle ranting and raving. I looked at my wife and she looked at me, we were both very shocked by this ladys behaviour. We told her thats fine and that we can get breakfast up the road. We then asked to park the car and take our luggage to the room. This was like putting a match to a tin of fuel!!! She was yelling telling us its $10 per night for parking and our room will not be ready till 2pm that afternoon. I told her where does it state this crap on her paperwork she said its all policy that this hotel does buissness like this.
She then told us ill ring you on your mobile if the room is ready before 2pm and we can get luggage in. THE PHONE DID NOT RING AT ALL. We booked into another hotel. The hotel then slugged me $112.50 cancalation on credit card behind my back +$37.50 booking fee. DO NOT GO HERE!!
