Hello. I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn located near Universal Studios Orlando, FL. The purposes of the stay were business given that all other hotels in the area were at capacity. After check in I headed to my room to find the room carpet completely wet and a large humidity device at the floor of the room. The A/C unit was barely working, and broken. I called the front desk to have them change me into a new room. When I arrived at the second room all seem to be in good working condition until I sat on the bed and raised the sheet covers. To my surprise I found a latex device right under the bed covers. I immediately turned on the lights to find a used condom lying at the bed. I called front desk and indicated that I needed a manager to immediately come to my room to have them see for themselves the disgusting item at my room. I checked out of the hotel and have informed local news media about the horror I encountered. No one seem to care about the incident and simply took it as a normal instance and simply checked me out of the hotel. My concerns with this kind of horrific encounter/service is with families that visit Orlando FL for the attractions and end up with similar incidents, which I find to be a hazardous health issue if the hotel cannot attend such events in having a used open condom on the bed. I will forward this complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Orlando FL. Local news are aware of my situation and will make it public.
