Comfort Rooms Of Florida Reviews

None Payment and avoiding Tax Evasion
Yep he thinks he got me too. I am a contractor in the State of Florida and in 13 years of installing communications systems through out the nation I have never had such problems as the ones I am having with Stephen from Comfort Rooms. Did a job for him some months ago and he refuses to pay. Every week he gives me an excuse for why he cannot finish the project and he will not pay me for work already completed. I told the guy to pay me for the cable I installed and he wants me to wait until his incompetent self decides to pay, which it will probably be never. Since this guy doesnt want to pay for at least the work I have completed, I have contacted the Labor Department in Capitol Hill and have asked them to look into Comfort rooms business practices. Right now they are in the proces of starting an investigation and I am looking for people whom Stephen has ripped off to go visit the Labor Department in Orlando and file a formal complaint. It will only take 6 total signatures to complete a sworned in affidavid with the Labor Department and they will begin looking for our money from Stephen and if he does not pay in a timely manner they have the right to ask his business in Florida to seize to exist in other words he will not be able to do anymore business in the state of Florida.

I am asking for anyone interested in pursuing actions against Comfort Rooms and Stephen legally to contact me immediately. Reply here and I will let you know where we can all meet and go forward with visiting the Labor Department. I will also be contacting the IRS for him wanting to pay under the table and avoid paying Taxes like we all Americans do. He is not that special that he does not have to pay taxes.

Idiocy
Mr. Fernando,

You're a moron. We, in the past 3 days or so, have received numerous phone calls about your attacking my husband on this board. Apparently, you think he's "Mr. Lovin It"...I read the complaint, there's nothing to indicate that the writer is a MR to begin with.

Just to inform you, when Ed has something to say to you, or about you, he will say it directly to you, as you well know from personal experience.

I shall address the issues as you have written them. By the tax thing has nothing to do with business of any sort, so you're just spewing crap, as you are so prone to doing.

1: "All your property and bank accounts were seized by the IRS for failing to pay $250, 000 in back taxes because you filed false tax returns for 7 years. They threatened to put you in jail until you gave up all your buddies that worked with you. Where is your integrity "Mr lovin it"?

Okay, NONE of our property were siezed by the IRS ever, for any reason. They DID take $500 out of our personal account as a down payment on a written plan. Nobody threatened to put him in jail, the tax problems are with our personal accounts. Sooooo, the part about him giving up buddies that worked with him is pure bullshit. Why would the IRS want to arrest his employees for a personal tax issue? Dumbass.

2.) "You begged Comfort Rooms of Florida, Inc for a loan to bail you out and we refused"

My husband doesn't beg. He's a man of integrity, and we've been down before. You know, I take that back...he HAS begged you to pay him on time, and for the amount of the bill, but, hey, you have your own agenda.

3.) "we got stung several times with your inferior workmanship and screwed up materials that we purchased with your incorrect measurements. We ended up paying other Subs to correct your work and rebuy the materials."

Yeah, right. My husband ran around fixing your fuck ups from day one. He's torn shingles off roofs to repair your crap. My husband is a MASTER CARPENTER whom has been building custom homes in Fl since 1978.
The original name of our business was Ed Crownover Custom Framer, it was a dba. The incorporated name is the same, with Inc. behind it. The business was incorporated in 1997. Check the BBB, how many complaints were filed against this corp? NONE EVER.

The incorrect measurement statement is laughable, anyone that knows him, understands that he's slightly obsessive compulsive, and it shows predominately in his work. He cannot stand for anything to be incorrect, even here at home, which annoys the devil out of me.

4) " You are also trying to collect "Full Disablity" at the taxpayers expense(the ones who actually pay their taxes). While you work (your back is just fine for that) under the table without workmens comp or liability and again not paying your taxes. Again, where is the integrity in that?

Buddy, if you'd go ahead and mention his name, I'll sue your ass for liablis. First of all, (and you can check with the social security division dipshit) Ed has NEVER filed for disability in his LIFE. He should, seven doctors have advised him to go out on total disability. Ed won't take charity. Neither will I. I work 2 jobs and he works all the time, both of us in pain management.

Oh, and Ed is EXEMPT from comp, he's an officer of his corp.

You're a real little prick Steve. Eddie has only heard from your former clients (his new clients) what you've assumed was his writing on here.

Eddie refuses to learn to use a computer, he sees it as a terrible waste of his time (like I consider the time he spent trying to teach you how to treat people, hell, you couldn't even get a permit in Oviedo without Ed standing there. The freaking building dept hates you.).

I'll tell you, Ed's a better person than I am. He thinks it's funny, I wouldn't put you out if you were on fire.

Sincerely,

Deanna Crownover

lack of integrity
Received an e-mail addressed to few of us (23) to visit www.ripoffreport.com and search Comfort Room of Florida. I am amazed how Mr. Ferrando keeps copying and pasting his rebuttal or explanation. As somebody suggested, I visited the BBB and I will be embarrassed to be graded with a C or having that many complaints for a small company. By the way, 6 inches of the same photos doesn't tell a thing.

Dishonest Practices, Not Paying Subcontractors
I see that Mr. Fernando is trying to smooth things over here. However, he's full of crap basically. Not only does he hide horrendous business practices in the fine print of legal contracts (which is why he refers to the contracts so frequently) but he also denies paying his sub-contractors for work that has been honestly completed.

I LOVE that he says his business is honest, but his clients aren't. Take a look at the BBB website (of course, he's not honest enough to actually JOIN the BBB). There are numerous complaints against his company, some he responds to, some he doesn't.
Some of the sub-contractors he has failed to pay (one of these, to my immediate knowledge, actually leined the job, and instead of this idiot paying the lein, he pays almost the same amount to bond around it...just to prove he can) are:
Absolute Drywall, Steve Young Welldrilling and K&L Welldrilling. ..
and NO, Steve, this is not coming from any of them. Just someone else you tried to screw...
Contact them and see if Comfort Rooms is and honest company that for some reason finds ALL dishonest customers.
Beware this company...you can have a whole subdivision built in the time it takes his company to build a child sized addition.
Watching this whole thing is better than reality tv! It's like watching a train wreck...this guy covers his butt...if you decide to hire him, have your attorney look over the contract BEFORE you sign...if not, you'll regret it.
Signed,
Lovin' It!!

Dishonest Practice
This is false advertisement. They want your money upfront even if the project is not finished. Signed a contract almost a year, it took them months to start, always with excuses, don't return your calls, and when ownership needs money, that's when he send someone to collect a check even if the job is not completed. The project is not 75% completed and they are demanding final payment. Owner (Stephen Ferrando) decided to stop the project because he considers an electrical job to be completed when the electrician hangs a fan and connect the outside light. For your information, the electric cables and switches are exposed (no fault to the sub-contractor), no drywalls yet, no air conditioner, still missing a door and windows and he is demanding final payment. He gets one star because that's the lowest. This company should be on the minus side. Warning, they talk a good game and once they have a contract, all bets are off!! By the way, when they cause damage to your property, it's never their fault.

Be Careful
BE VERY VERY CAREFUL. THIS COMPANY HAS SEVERAL COMPLAINTS. CHECK OUT BBB AND RIPOFF REPORT. THEY DO NOT COMPLETE WORK AND THERE SUB-CONTRACTORS COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT BEING PAID. SEVERAL OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE CONTACTED ATTORNEYS FOR POTENTIAL LAWSUITS. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
