On April 16th, 2008 my husband and I along with our 8 year old a daughter and my 77 year old mother checked in to Comfor Suites for a one night stay. I had booked this room in January and had requested a room with two queen size beds. When we arrived in the room, we found that we had a pull out sofa and a king size bed. I went back to the desk and advised the young lady of this and she said there was nothing they could do about it, they were completely booked. In view of the fact it was just an overnight stay, we decided to make do with what we were given.

After settling in to our room, I discovered the hot water in the tub was not working properly. I called the front desk and spoke with a yourng lady and explained to her the problem. Here response was "we will move you to another room"...I told her we were completely settled in to this room, my daughter had a fever and I have a husband with multiple sclerosis and it really would be quite difficult to change rooms at this point. She said there was NOTHING else she could do for me. I asked her if there was any way they could possibly send someone to our room to take a look at the problem, maybe it was something that could be corrected. She stood firm and said we MUST change rooms. I advised her that the girl earlier told me there were no other rooms, they were all booked up so how could we possibly even change rooms. She was very rude and abrupt and said changing rooms was the ONLY solution she could give me. Then she proceeded to tell me I was "yelling" at her; my mother, husband and dauhghter will confirm I NEVER raised my voice to this young lady. When I said to her "no Miss, I am not yelling at you" she came back with "Oh, now you're going to cope an attitude"...I was amazed that an employee could be so rude to a guest, I just said to her "I will work this out, good-bye". I was very upset by her response and her accusations. My mother and husband were totally shocked by this girls attitude towards me. I decided to report this to the manager of the hotel and call the front desk back. A different young lady answered the phone. I asked to speak with the manager and she said he was not in yet. I asked when he came in, could she please have him call me right away. She advised me I could leave him a voice mail; I agreed to that. She transfered me but no voice messaging system ever came on, I held for about five minutes and finally hung up. I called the front desk back and asked what was the name of the young lady I had spoken to about the water problem and was advised her name was "Danielle"; I asked for a last name but the young lady I spoke with would not tell me, she responded with "She's the only Danielle that works here".

Thank goodness our stay was only one night. I have written to the manager of this hotel because I could not find a coporate address to send my complaint. I wanted the public to be aware of this hotels discourteous service and treatment of their customers.
