I received my first from CII about the end of Feb, 2009. I called and talked to Bruce, who was assigned to this account. I told him that I had filed bankruptcy and tried to give him the information and he refused to take it, stating he’s not my secretary. He continued to insult and curse at me for a couple minutes until I hung up. I asked several times for their MN License # and they would not give it to me. Before I hung up he told me that he’d wait for 7 years and then come after me.
I then didn’t hear back from them for over a week. I received a second notice from them in the mail on March 11, 2009. They began calling immediately after I returned from the hospital on March 11, 2009. They told me they had filed a lawsuit against me and asked if I had received it, to date I’ve not received any lawsuit.
On 3-18 they left a message on my voicemail, I called them around noon and talked to Bruce again who refused to take any information about my bankruptcy and continued to threaten me. At 5:15 they called back and this time it was someone different who again wouldn’t take any information from me or give me their lic #. He went on to tell me to “get my lazy ass of the couch and get a second job.” I hung up, the same person called me two more times within 5 minutes, one time all he did was scream for 20 seconds before he started talking and again berated me for being a deadbeat.
From that date I’ve received at least 1 or more calls from them everyday, except sat and sun. They also have confirmed that it says right on my information that I’ve gone through bankruptcy and still continue trying to collect the debt.
