i purchased a notebook on 26th of july in 2008, model no. of that notebook is compaq presario 783 tu.
somedays before my child took out left arrow key of aforsaid notbook. i adjust that key to same place. it started to work but this time it is little tighter than before. on 18th of july in 2009 some of the keys stop working in normal window mode, but they are working properly in safe mode and in boot mode. i took my notebook to my dealer named district computers in srigangangar (rajasthan). they asked me to go to main dealer and collection point of HP in city named AAA infotech.
when i went to them they told me that there is problem in DVD writer of the notebook. then i told him about the tightness of above mentioned left arrow key. one of them started pressing that left arrow key unneccessarily and broke the lock of key's cap and said that we will send it to compan's service center in Bikaner. before 2-3 days that service centre make me a call and said that there is a problem in key pad and we have to change it but due to that broked lock of key it will not cover in warrenty and i have to pay Rs. 3500/- .then i contact to AAA infotech he started abusing me and said why should they pay for that.
dear sir my complaint is that when i complained them about my problem within limitatioin of warranty and i have no fault in breaking that cap then why i m responsible for pay that amount.
