I gave my laptop to Computer Inferno in mid July because the outlet, where you plug in the charger, was broken. I would hoping to receive it before classes began in late August. After about a month had passed, the company called and said there was something else broken and they needed to order a new part. We patiently waited another month without hearing from anyone from the store.
My parents called the store to see what was going on because by this time I had already begun classes and was needing my laptop to do my assignments, projects, and write papers. They people at the store were very rude and said that they did not know anything, and that we should speak to the technician, Robert, who was handling my laptop. He said for us to call the department where they were ordering my part and that they are the reason why it is taking so long to get my laptop back.
By this time we have already paid Computer Inferno $350, but I have still not received my computer. Now every time I try to get in touch with Robert he is "not at his desk." I have heard this message over a few weeks now. I went by the store, Computer Inferno, to let them know that I could not get in touch with Robert and they said all they could do was try to call him.
Still I have not heard back from the people at Computer Inferno or Robert himself. It has been over three months now and my classes are almost over! I have talked to two people on Robert's phone who said he would return my phone call the very next day, and another person said that he has been out of town. So here I am, with no laptop and out $350 and have received no information on where my laptop or Robert is. I feel as though I have reached the end of my rope because I am not receiving any cooperation Computer Inferno.
It is my belief that as a paid customer you should be treated better and receive a little more cooperation from the company.
