Mike Johson of Computer Networx of Wadena, MN is notorious for: Altering Windows OS Product Images, Fabricating PC Manufacturer's BIOS Serial Numbers, Stealing Internal Hardware from Customers Laptops/Desktops, Erasing Private Data without Backup, and Installing Hacked/Pirated Versions of Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Ultimate, and Windows 7 Ultimate on Client Machines. All without Customers Permission or Knowledge.

Mike Johnson of Computer Networx is also known for: Installing Bible 2.0 for Windows and 9/11 Videos on Customers Laptops/Desktops. This is just the data that people can see. Who knows what else he is installing and uploading onto his customers computers. He could be hiding images, videos, and other digital data on his customers systems. He is doing these misdeeds to his customers and his business needs to be shut down. All without Customers Permission or Knowledge.

How do I know that he is doing this? I have experienced it first hand. Here, I purchased a Compaq Evo from him in 2003. He charged over $2, 000.00. The fan was not turning on automatically during startup and the machine began to overheat causing damages to the harddrive and condensation marks on the motherboard. HP/Compaq was not going to warranty the machine because Mike Johnson altered the machines serial number by manipulating the system BIOS. Here, he replaced the Y's in the Serial Number with I's and HP/Compaq does not put I's in their serial numbers because they get confused with 1's. HP/Compaq investigated Computer Networx and found that he is not an authorized HP/Compaq dealer, reseller, or technician. HP/Compaq eventually fixed my computer under warranty after proving to them that the condensation marks appeared due to a faulty cooling system that was causing the machine to overheat, which was not a result of liquid being spilled on the laptop keyboard.

I recently brought a Toshiba Satellite C655 laptop to Computer Networx. I simply asked him if he could repair my Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System, because it was running slow during startup. When I went to Computer Networx to check on the progress, Mike Johnson handed me my Toshiba with a non-genuine (Pirated) version of Windows 7 Ultimate. The machine had The Holy Bible for Windows 2.0 on it. It also had videos, eBooks, images, and other data concerning the 9/11 attack in the documents folder. My private personal and business data was erased without him backing it up and I specifically asked him to back it all up. Who knows what he is doing with this information now. It could be floating around in Cyber Space somewhere. This incident occured in March of 2011.

Mike Johnson was also working on a Desktop for me in March of 2011. I decided that he burned enough bridges with me and that he could no longer be trusted. So, I went to his shop to pick up my Desktop. I opened the case to find that the G Skill (2GB) and 180 GB Western Digital Sata Drive were missing. I asked him where the hardware was and he responded "I thought you told me I could scrap what I wanted out of the machine." I told him "No. Our agreement was that you were going to put the hardware in another machine that my partner and I were than going to purchase from you." He gave me all of my property back, but lost my trust, and I want to get this message out there to help prevent anybody else from experiencing what I had experienced with Mike Johnson d/b/a Computer Networx of Wadena, MN 56482. Many people have complained about Computer Networx. I just did not believe what I was hearing until I experienced it myself. The man needs to be put out of business and investigated by the FBI for piracy, data privacy violations, and electronic fraud.
