Parents took my lap top to a conns in mcallen tx since it wasnt charging.Was told 2 weeks max those weeks passed called the main r.c(repair center) in S.A. they said nope. That they were behind schedule and it would take about a month for me to get it back basically til july.I said send it back got it back signed for it.Parents got home to find this huge scratch on the top.Called conn's they said we bubble wrap it so it wasnt us call the r.c. I did they said we have nothing to do with it we never open any packages up.I got it sent to Houston where I currently live took it to conns since it was still not fixed got it sent off to the r.c here.Knew it would be much faster before I did I showed manager she said yeah call this number its corp office because I can totally see the stratch. This was about 2 weeks ago was told they would try and do "something"about it either get me a new top cover or whole screen.Well after 2 days was called from the r.c. here in houston saying they would fix it since now they had it I was like great...then was later called that it was ready and the scratch well they coudlnt do anything about it cus it happend in s.a. not houston r.c.Picked it up signed for it thinking nothing of it.Was told they were still trying to figure out what to do with the scratch so once i got it still had the scratch.
Well after calling back and forth with Corp Office I called last week they said oh yeah we are waiting for the manager at S.A. to give us an answer call back in a day I said ill wait til monday. I call back today and this was their answer WE ARE SORRY THE MANAGER (from houston)CALLED YOU AND HE SAID THAT YOU HAD SAID THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE CABLE AND THE NEW HARD DRIVE. B.T.W YOU SIGNED MEANING EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. to which i replied YEAH I SIGNED BECAUSE ITS MY LAPTOP AND THATS THE ONLY WAY FOR ME TO GET IT AND WHAT DOES MY CABLE AND HARDRIVE HAVE TO DO WITH THE SCRATCH I WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT FOR A RESPONSE FROM THE MANAGER IN ...S.A. NOT HOUSTON IF IT WASNT FIXED THEN WHY DID IT GET SENT OFF TO ME? to which she said interrupting me WELL WHEN YOU SIGNED YOU SAID IT WAS GOOD SO THATS THE FINAL WORD IN THAT IF IT WASNT FIXED WHY DID YOU SIGN FOR IT? to which i said CUS AGAIN THE CABLE AND HARDRIVE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SCRATCH AND THEY SAID I HAD TO WAIT FOR AN ANSWER FROM TEH MANAGER IN S.A. its RIDICULOUS that you have to open your packaging there to check all imperfections(which btw i did open it and i saw the scratch but like i was told YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A RESPONSE FROM s.a. manager)
Conns is just ridiculous and a big scratch that ...i meant to say A BIG SCAM in all sort of ways and dont waste your time calling cus they will make sure you just go in a loop never get a straight answer and when you do you will be screwed...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS PEOPLE I SURE CANT WAIT TO PAY OFF WHAT I OWE...
