Purchased a lap top computer on Dec. for the kids and my son accidently dropped it and then fell on top of it breaking the screen. I purchased the extra warranty but the broken screen was not covered because it was physical damage and we had to pay $359.00 to repair the screen because we were reestablishingour credit. We took it in on the 28th of Jan. and gave the o.k. for the repairs on the 10th of Feb. We waited for them to call us saying that it was ready. Then on the 3rd of March I called to find out the status of the repairs and the lady told me that they had send the computer on the 26th of feb. for repairs because no one had let the technichan know that we had wanted the repairs done. I then told them that I wanted to speak to the Manager but he was out to lunch, so I said that I wanted him to call me so that I could tell him all the mistakes that were done and I waited for two days and he never called me. On the 5th of March they call and say that the computer is ready. We pick it up on the 6th of March. I use it for 1 hour and the screen goes black. We take it back to the store on the 9th of March and the Service Dept. receives it on the 10th of March. We wait until today when I call them because we have not heard for them and now they tell me that they cannot check to see what is wrong with it because they are 2 1/2 weeks behind schedule and that it will be checked maybe by the 1st week of April. They say that they have over 250 items that need to be check and only 3 techs. checking all the repairs. I told them that they need to hire more techs. and need to hire Managers that are willing to return customers calls.
