bad custumer srevice
I bought brand new TV, Had the TV for 28 days and the TV quit working so i took the TV back to the store. Then they told me that i could not get the TV repaired and that i could not get my money back . They told me that i had to get the TV reparied . mind you this is a 2500.00 dollar Tv they have had my tv for 28 days and still do not have the TV repaired . tHey have bascially stole my TV and will not give me a new TV or will not give me a excgane or my money back .. I will neve do bussiness with Conns agian. nor will any of my children nor will any of my employes .. I would never want any boudy to go threw what i have gone threw in the last 30 days . Even if you can save 200.00 $ it would not be worth the risk that you might have to deal with any of their customer service. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND NEVER BUY ANYTJING AT CONNS ..

The Crooks at Conns
I received a call from the store to notify me my computer that is still under warranty was ready for pick up 5/19/10, it was dropped of on 4/26/10. The cashier was still trying to get me to pay money for the computer. Corporate contact confirmed that there would not be a balance due. After a few minutes the cashier let me leave with the computer. When I got home to set the computer up, it made a continuing beeping noise. By this time the tech support at Conn's was closed, so I called HP's tech line. I explained the situation and the tech asked me to turn on the computer so he could hear. He informed me that either the RAM was not installed properly or it was missing all together. So instead of just a printer connecting issue I now have a computer that does not work at all.

No one has sent me a refund for loss food yet
I review your service as very poor because I did everything that was required of me and it has been since December and I still have not gotten a response. I would like to think that someone would have enough courtesy to call and let me know what is going on with my claim. It seems as if you all say dam the customer I have made my sale and that is all that counts. I have brought several appliances from your company and to no ado they have gone out before time and now since I lost so much food you all don't want to take care of me, whats really going on.

repair of dryer
I purchased a dryer from Conns and needed repair service for a minor problem with a switch on the dryer. The dryer was still under a covered service contract. When I called Conns, they told me they would not be able to come to repair the dryer for 6 days. I explained to them that my wife and I both work a 40 hour a week job and have 2 small children, and we could not go 6 days without a dryer. After speaking with several Conns employees in Lafayette, Louisiana and Beaumont, Texas no one could help us getting a sooner repair date. We are very disappointed in Conns and we will never buy anything every again from Conns.
As a side note, We called Sears Service Repair center, and they came out the same day and did the repair.

Unauthorized payment
Conn's Texas took an unauthorized payment from my checking account they abuse the information you give them when you make a payment with either your check card or check do not give them this infomation make payments at location. Call them and stop them from doing this to you by recording and faxing-No Unauthorized Payments do not open an account with this Company they are know for Lemon Appiancse, Poor Customer Service, Warrenty Fraud and Now Theft with Customer personal checking account Ruthless Collection they do not work with customer they steel from them Beware of Conn's.

CHAIR UNDER WARRANTY BROKE, SAYS CONTRACTOR WILL FIX IT, HAS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS AND JUST ORDERED PARTS, BECAUSE CONNS HAS JUST O.K.ED PAYMENT FOR PARTS STILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR PARTS THEN MAKE APPT. TO GET FIXED WON'T GIVE ME REFUND OR ANOTER CHAIR MUST WAIT MORE

bad service
worst example of not only of general sales ethics but supposed HIGH END retaliers I have ever seen..I refuse to darken their doors again. Staff (including Dallas Cop for security) were more iterested i the Dallas Cowboy game in the TV dept. than customer milling around looking for assistance. I could have walked out of that store with a deep freeze and not be noticed. Sales clerk left for lunch mid transaction wile we stepped outside to have a cigarette to kiill time while the guy inside was pulling his head outof his ass. Then when the money thing was transacted, we werte informed the TV was actually at the hub across town, wherein we waited another 45 min to get the damn TV into the car. Its like they pass out Valium to their employees upon punching in for work. Total time for simple TV transaction, 3 hours. I hate to cut this blog short but I have to get on the road and finish my Sunday tasks today (Monday) that were ruined by the lengthy "Conns Experience".

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING AND HARRASSING PHONE CALLS BUT I CONNED THEM...
I had a bad time at conns in buying an expensive Samsung steam dryer. The price was lower than anyone else. They had stickers everywhere 0% for 18 months. Yea, finding out that is only if you want to buy it at the regular (higher price). What a deceiving scam. Here I was opening up a new account to get it for the lower price then they told me afterwards that I could not get it at the lower price with the 0% for 18 months. I said ok I have a credit card for 0% for 6 months I will use that instead after the first 90 days of conns. Well my gutt said to go to another store and check out their warranty prices. I went to BEST BUY. I showed them my invoice, they priced MATCHED THE LOWER PRICE OF CONNS, GAVE ME FREE DELIVERY AND GAVE ME A FIVE YEAR INSTEAD OF A 4 YEAR WARRANTY FOR $125.00 LESS than conn's 4 years !! I SAVED ANOTHER $250.00 AND THEY GAVE 0% FOR 18 MONTHS!! I cancelled the conns sell which I never received the dryer of course and they are still calling me today,
sometimes twice a day for another sell.
WHAT A BUNCH OF COMMISSION MORONS...
CONN THEM BUT DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM CAUSE THEY
WILL TRY TO CONN YOU! LOSERS...

For all you who deal with Conns please before you give you debit number or Acct. number listen. I had made a payment arrangment with Conn's to debit my Acct. on 3/29/09. However, they debited my Acct. on 3/27/09! This put my bank Acct. in the overdrawn status. I then contact them and was apologized to and was asked if I wanted to cancel this payment and they would send me the check. However, I said to the gentleman that it was okay that Conn's could just refund my 2 overdraft fees. The gentleman was very kind and said not a problem. I needed to fax over a copy of my statment showing these fees and they would mail out a check. To make a VERY long story short it is now the middle of July and I STILL have not received a check. I have been told stories from over 10 different employees (to include managers) that they never received the fax (after 4 employees including a manager stated they did). Then to help them I offered to just put that amount on my husband's account to save them time and paper work for the check and was told no that the check was on the way. I should recieve it by July 13th or 14th. It's now the 15th and NO check. It gets better...I then call Customer Service and ask what the status on the check is and get told that the check request was just processed and they could not tell me if I would receive it by the end of this week. Then I asked to speak to a manger. WELL...it got even better Yolanda (which provided me with her ID #) told me that the check was requested to be mailed. However, the accounting department had to approve this and this process from start to finish usually takes 30 days! Then she proceeded to explain to me how this process works...up to 4 managers having to approve this payout, and then it be forwarded to accounting. I then asked her for the CEO's e-mail address or someone in that area because they need to know how things are being handled. I was then denied that and she then became very short with me and stated to log onto Conns.com. I have informed her that I had already done this and it gives no info of e-mail address or corportate number. She then stated I would have to e-mail [email protected] to get a response. This web link brought me to this. Oh, I forgot to say that she did transfer me to a department that only handles service delivery complaints. WOW! Great manager!
So needless to say I have WARNED everyone to not make payment arrangements with conns for them to debit your account for future billing unless you want to go through what I am STILL going through. ONE more thing the Manager's need to work on their customer service skills!

return policy
my mom went to conns and re-open up her husband account so i could get a stackable w/d.okay the guys delivered the w/d but didn't try to attempt to set it up ( i was not there, my sister was there ) . i called and they brung it back(had and attitude the delivery guy) and i was goin to get the mantanice man to put it in. i got tired of waiting on the maintance man, so i told them that i wanted to return the w/d.this happened within a week, i was charge a restocking fee 15%, 2 deliveries, and a load of crap.i was told that since the box was open that it had to be rebox and restock okay it would have been okay if i did open the box but i didn't and i was tryin to tell the manager that the box was already open when it was delivered. the return policy says if the product is in its original box that u would not be charge a re-stocking fee. comming to find out that before they put the product on the truck they open it up, so it is open before it is delivered.i ended up spending 500.00 for something that sat in my living room for aboout less than a week and was still in the box. i even called the bbb and they couldn't help and the warehouse.oh and the manager was rude and didn't want to help, becasue the decision was up to him, even the asst. manager was trying to help me out butit was up to the manager.so be careful with conns!
