I've been getting leads from this company for several months and overall most of the leads have been good; but in May I received a lead and called the general. The lead seemed good as the general set an appointment with me to come out and do a job walk. I went out and met with the general and gave him a bid on the job. Apparently I had the best bid because a couple days later the general called me back and had me come out and start the job 4 days later. I get out there and got to tearing out the drywall, as we were adding on a new room to the house however when we got the drywall down we saw that the interior framing was completely rotted wood. After investigating there were major structural issues with the entire side of the house. The gc had to go down to the city and the house was marked as a historic home so then I was told it was going to take a couple of months to actually get in there to do the work because the gc had to run applications with the historic society and get them approved before the work continued.
So I called construction Pipeline about the lead and they refused to refund me the charges even though the job got held up for a long period of time. To me this just doesn't seem right!
