Had to renew account or pay collection agency

I subscribed to their service which provided one lead. While it is not the fault of ConstructionDeal.com that the client did not pay for my services ($2, 500 worth), the only referrals that I received were from people that were unsophisticated.
I decided not to renew my subscription and their person agreed. Then they forwarded my account to a collection agency. I had no other option except to pay for services that I did not receive.

Deceptive Practices

Be aware of all the ins and outs with this company, they use very deceptive practices when doing business. We only once ever actually got a small job from there leads, but for the most part there leads are a joke, they do not screen the jobs / projects they post as they say they do, and on many occasions i have had a client tell me they had gotten pricing from 6 or more contacts from construction deal, when what they advertise to those buying leads is that they only send it out 4 times then it goes away. Your money would be better spent just handing it to someone that is homeless as you will at least get a thank you and a smile.
