I checked my checking acct balance and a 239.40 charged had been electronically debited. I have never heard of this company or applied for a credit card. When I did get in touch with the company I refused to give them any info. made them tell me what they had. They do not even have me in the system and that amount is not an amount that would even debit from my account(per the customer service person). I am filing a complaint with the bbb and scam busters.

Unauthorized withdrawal of fund have been taking from my account without my authorized permission. At this point I am very upset and disappointed with the frauds on the internet system. Is there anything, that I can do about this?

you have taken out 49.95 out of my account from my bank i did not give you perrmission to do so. please return my funds to my account. lisa atkinson

I have notice that this business has withdrawn money from my bank account without my permission.

This company will withdraw money from your checking account without your knowledge if you sign up for a subprime credit card or a payday loan through one of various websites. They are NOT a loan company but will "shop" your information to obtain credit from other legitimate firms. What you DO NOT realize is that they take your checking account information and put fraudulent charges through on your account. You can get your money back but it is an arduous process.

Here's what to do if you are a VICTIM of Consumer Bill:

1. Call Consumer Bill and tell them you did not authorize their charges and request they reverse your electronic submission to put the money back into your account. They will deny your request but will tell you that they will send you a check in the mail within 30-45 days. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS! Here's the reason:

Once 60 days has passed your bank has NO recourse against these bottom feeders. They can NO LONGER get your money back at the end of 60 days. Consumer Bill is trying to string you along past the 60 days.

2. IMMEDIATELY call your banks "check fraud" division and tell them you had an un-authorized charge against your account. They will do a fraud investigation and reverse the transaction and should refund any associated fees for returned checks etc.

3. IMMEDIATELY close your checking account and re-open a new account and NEVER give your account information to any company on the internet unless absolutely necessary!

THESE RUDE INDIVIDUALS TRIED THIS WITH ME AND I CONTACTED MY BANK, HAD THE CHARGES REVERSED ON THE SPOT! I PLAN TO INVESTIGATE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY.

STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS, DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS SCAM!
