Harrassing calls
I have to agree with every complaint I've read regarding Consumer Portfolio Service. When they couldn't get in touch with me they called my wifes mother and brother at their homes. Who does CPS think they are? And how did they get my in-laws numbers when I never gave them to them and what right do they have to even call anyone else regarding a loan between they and I? When I got this loan from them in 2005 the only number they were given was mine. I had no other family members to put don't for contacts. I also would like to know how they even found out I was married 2 years ago and to whom. I am so sick of them and their tactics of calling uninvolved people and discussing my financial situations while not only embarassing, it's wrong. The Alleged "customer service "reps are not only rude, but arrogant as well and threatening when on the phone with a few hundred miles of distance between them and you (particularly the one who calls himself "Rob"). I ended up going onto their website, loggging in and sending an E-mail telling them they could take the damn car. Because it wasn't worth the embarrassment my wife has to now face when with her family. I wish to God, thay'd get sued so bad that they'd go bankrupt like 75% of the other businesses in the country are now and fade into obscurity where bad memories and nightmares should go. I Hate CPS. I wish they'd either take the car or I had the necessary cash to pay the loan off and get them out of my life. On top of that I requested them to not contact anyone BUT me regarding the loan and they blatantly ignored it. I still have heard back from tehm regarding the E-Mail I sent. I wish tehy get investigated and closed down by the Better Busibess Bureau, or because of their violation of the fair credit practice laws. I can't say enough how much I hate them.
