Unauthorized billing
This fraud company lifted my information off of a cash advance website and then stole money out of my bank account!! I had the charges stopped through by bank and my bank gave me my money back. But I also got the following information from my bank to help other get their money back.
The name of the company's Executive Director is Caroline Kment and her direct telephone number is: 775-359-2299 call and ask her where your refund is. Call her everyday if that is what you have to do. It is the only way to get your refund that they promise you will get.

here to help
This is for everyone that had money taken from there accounts from consumerbill.com. They go by many different names with many different purposes. Many of you were applying for cash advances and when you submitted your application you unknowingly agreed to fine print that states you agree to a membership for a credit card. They charge people different amount varying from $20.00 to $90.00. You have to go to there website at consumerbill.com during there business hours and click on live chat. If they are closed for the day you can cancel your account with them and click on refund. I has money taken out of my account for $49.95 on October 7th, 2008, I finally recieved my money in my account exactly 3 months later on January 7, 2009. It took me a lot of chatting with them to get no where fast. They tell you that your account will be canceled with them immediately so you should not incur any more charges, then they say that they will contact the third party that charged you. They give that company basically 60 business days to pay you back. If they don't they conduct there own investigation and they refund you within another 15 business days. People all in all it will take you 90 days before you see your money again. As far as the third party is concerned I believe there isn't one. I think they are the ones that take your money. If you do some simple research online you will see quickly that they go by many different company names. They are into credit cards, cash advances, scholarships and many more. They are everywhere. I will never submit my personal info for anything again. Don't bother with online cash loans. It's not worth it. You are just giving your bank info to criminals. I hope this helps someone out there. Feel free to email me with any questions. I'll do what I can. [email protected]

bank fraud
I need advise from all the people that have been ripped off some how by internet red tape. I'm sick and tired of these so called companies stealing your money and laughing all the way to the bank. Their has to be something that can be done legally. We should be able to file a class action law suit and be vindicated in a court. 2009 rings out to me a year of change for consumers not to be stepped on any longer. Unfortunately I am not a lawyer, I do not know how to begin this process. The bigger this computer age gets the more it is used to violate people, and it needs to end. One person can't do it alone. But if we all get together it will make a voice that has to be heard. If anyone would like to help me get this started please contact me. I would appreciate any help with this matter. My email is [email protected] This is a very serious matter that needs to be tended to. Thank you

Unauthorized charges
I was charged a 49.95 on my banking account and it was from consumerbill.com, Fortress Secured. I tried several times to call the number and it would tell me what number in line I was and when I got down to next in line it would say all agents are busy try again later. After several hours I finally got through to someone and told me I signed up for something I did not. They would not refund my money immediately and I asked to speak with a supervisor but of course none were available. So I told the guy I would hold until one is and he said no I would not because he would hang up on me. He did but called me stupid before he hung up on me.
I called back and finally got through again and after arguing with someone else on the validity of the charges I agreed to receive a refund in 30-45 days. They assured me no more charges would be made to my account. A week later there was one for $39.95. This caused me to have overdraft fees on my checking account. I did not bother to call back.
I went straight to my bank and informed them of the 2 fraudulent charges on my account. The bank refunded me the $49.95 and the $39.95 plus overdraft fees, and sent back to them as unauthorized charges. Do not even bother to call, it does no good. Just dispute the charges with your bank and you should get your money back and any overdraft fees if it causes you to have them.
These people are a complete ripoff! The place you call is an outsourced company for Fortress Secured it is no actually someone at their company you talk to. It does not matter they have horrible customer service call you names and hang up on you! I also filed a report with the BBB and the companies have negative ratings with them.

stole money from bank account
In October 2008 I noticed that I had a withdrawal from my account of $49.95. I called the bank to inquire what this was. They gave me a name and phone number of a place called consumerbill.com. I called the number the bank gave me and spoke with a person that told me that it was a platinum master card membership. I told her that I had not applied for a credit card. She ask me if I had applied for a personal loan. I told her that I had and she told me that it was in the agreement when I applied for the loan. Well, it was only a few days when I noticed that there was an amount of $39.95 withdrawn from my account. This was the same thing when I called the bank. I did not sign anything for these people to take this money from my account. I have continously called for my refund and I still have not received my money. First they told me I would receive a check within 30 to 45 business days. Well, it has been well over that and I still have not received my money back. I just got off the phone with a lady named Erica (after Mary hung up on me) and she told me that I would receive the money back in my account with 7 to 10 business days. I would automatically be credited back to my account. I am very mad that this can happen and it does not take these people 30 to 45 days to take the money. I dont know what can be done but these people need to be stopped. Is there anyone out there that can give me any advise on what to do.

Fraud
I applied for a payday loan online and the next thing I knew my account was charged 49.95 and 39.95. I contacted my bank and was referred to the company. The company provided a confirmation number for the refund and advised I would have my refund in 30-45 dyas. Well, that time has lasped and the company's number stays busy and I still don't have a refund. i called my bank and advised of the situation and they had notes on my account from my first call so it was easy to resolve the issue with my bank. But the problem I am having is the fact that this company has ripped off so many people all of whom are simply trying to make it due to unforseen circumstances. This company is preying on people in times of trouble

Fraud company and beware
This company is a big time fraud that every American should watch out for. Every time I call, they swear up and down that they are not the company that took my money; ironically, they offered me a "refund, " which never came. My point is that if you are not the company taking the money, why are you offering a refund? That doesn't make any sense!!! Do you all have "free" money to give away to people? I highly doubt it. In all, don't look for the refund that you were "suppose" to get because it is not coming.
This company will also claim that you made an agreement on the first party's website which stated that they can sell your information to any company, but we all know that this information was NOT found on that company's terms and agreement; ironically, if you squinch your eyes and look at Consumerbill.com's terms and agreement, it states that they can sell your information to other companies. How unfair is this??? This is unfair because you didn't sign the agreement with consumerbill.com, you signed it with the company who you were seeking the personal loan from. You signed it with an honest company but some mysterious way, Consumerbill.com received your information and took money from your account.
Let's talk about possible ways that Consumerbill.com could've received your bank information.
Firstly, they pretend that they are lenders who offer you a loan amount. So once your information has been shared with many lenders, including "consumerbill.com, " they take your bank information, hurry up and fix up a nice "fake" check and your bank then processess it. It doesn't take long, and before you know it, your bank account is negative with an ISF.
One could easily tell that this is a big fraud afterwards because of their so-called customer service. Shoudn't customer service representatives be friendly??? However, these evil people are extremely rude and will hang up in your face the minute that you start asking too many questions.
In addition, their website is extremely jacked-up. If you notice, you can't click on any icons but the login icon. WOW!!! You can't click on their partners, the services and products that they offer because they don't offer any products or services. Normally when you enter a secure website and you have an account with that company, you will maybe use a username and password, but for their website, you have to use your ACCOUNT NUMBER...how crazy!!! Why should you have to use your account number to access your so-called information!!! Lastly, if you enter your information, a pop-up will state that the system failed and to try again later so don't waste your time entering in information. It is extremely bogus people.
I also called numerous of times and in the back ground, all I heard was people laughing and making a mockery out of me. Then they kept calling my phone and making rude remarks. I have so many recordings and i will play them in court for the judge to hear. I have so much evidence against these people, so I am excited about getting them caught.
These dudes are through and will appear in court in no time because it doesn't take a rocket science to realize that they are big time crooks who will soon have to serve their time because of their crime!!!
