pop up that won't go away!!
I was on the internet went this pop up came on and continued in a loop...it is still there and will not go away! This should be illegal... how does this company have the right and/or ability to just TAKE OVER my computer? Terribly frustrating

fraud and privacy issues
ConsumerGain.com

I entered an email address an was forwarded to a page to fill out further info. Before i could even finish submitting my info, i had already received four junk emails, specifically sent to the unique email address that i provided ConsumerGain.com. At no point, particularly because i did not proceed with the application process, did I did authorize them to share my email address, with anyone. Checking the contact us page on their webpage reveals no contact information outside of creating an account with them, presumable in which one might lose various rights.

Unable to close window!
I went onto a research website and a www.consumergain.com window popped up congratulating me on winning a Gateway laptop. I tried to close the pop up but whenever my cursor touched to window, their full site would open instead of close out. It wasn't until I went to this Complaints Board site, that the consumergain.com window would close.

False advertising!
I fulfilled my end of the bargain by completing six different offers. I went through all of this hassle because I was promised a Sony Vaio laptop for my participation. I DID receive a check for $500, but I notified them that it was impossible to purchase a Sony Vaio for $500 and I wanted the gift they promised me. To let you now how "professional" this business is, they merely blacklisted me so that I can't log on to their site any longer, so I e-mailed them at [email protected] and they responded that since I acknowledged receipt of my incentive, there was nothing further to do so they banned me from the site. Imagine the nerve of me asking for what I was promised! This whole thing really sucks and I will tell everyone I know about them.

Fraud and cheating!
This company has you fill out page after page of offers and finally when you choose one, you are lead to a dead end instead of receiving a reward. Total SCAM! Don't join CONSUMERGAIN.COM!

Fraud and misrepresentation!
I signed up to receive a $500 Toys-R-Us gift card. I simply had to complete two offers from each of three pages. Well, despite their claim that they have an "extensive selection" on each page, they have only two offers on page three. That means that I need to select both offers, which are credit cards I already have. When I pointed out to ConsumerGain that I cannot select either of the offers on page three, they refused to allow me to substitute offers from one of the other two pages.

So, they violated their own Terms and Conditions and have made it impossible to fulfill the requirements. I believe they are guilty of fraud and misrepresentation, and they had no intention of allowing anyone to receive the gift card.

Fraud and cheating!
I responded to an e-mail offer from Consumer Gain, promising a Gateway Laptop for responding to two offers from associated advertisers. I completed applications from CitiBank and Discover for a credit card. This is the second time I've completed one of their offers, and I'd best see my free laptop this time around, or I promise I'll become their worst nightmare! Thanks.
