This man absconded owing me $19, 000 after demolishing most of the interior of my home before I moved in. He has since disappeared. He had insisted that I prepay him for projects, then insisted I loan him $500.00 then insisted that I cosign a $5000.00 bank loan for him or he would not be able to continue to work on my house which was so torn up it was unlivable (and yet I had to live in it.) I believe some of the money I paid him may have gone into buying materials for another project other than mine. He put some wonderful items that had been removed from the house awaiting stripping and reuse into the dumpster and left other items out in the rain. He billed himself as a general contractor. The only subs he brought in were some ilegal aliens from the Honduras to build my fence and deck. The fence is fine. (except the gates) but the deck is a second-story deck and is unstyable and unfinished and represents a hazard. I had to surviv a full winter with open spaces where doors were supposed to be properly installed. Instead he had just rigged in smaller doors that were shaky, did not fit and had 6 inches of open space on two sides. I had to stuff those spaces with plastic bags which kept falling out. I tried to upload a photo but couldn't get it to work. Everything he touched he either ruined or left half done with promises and excuses his stock in trade.
