Scam Job
This is a place where "direct marketing" is actually done as business to business solicitation either by foot or by car and is based on lying through one time coupon codes. "Leaders" are required to arrive at the office by 7:30am and typically do not leave, after spending a full day in the field, until about 6:30pm. They teach you to use "impulse factors" to sell either office products or energy kilowatts to small businesses which honestly do not need a salesperson to assist one with. They are constantly hiring anyone who responds to their cheeky monster.com and craigslist adds and chucks it up to, "it would be good for the experience." The "experience" that I saw was that the top producers in the field are given the "opportunity" to train or interview new lemmings based on that leaders previous days production. The better you sell, the more you're obligated to teach the new batch of jobless kids that flow in on a daily basis. During the interview process, it is considered bad to fully explain the logistics of the job, including commission rates, and one is told to only present an "average per week" amount during lunch through a chart which does not fully explain reimbursements ect... For a quick word to the wise, any "full day" interview that cannot explain the job responsibilities and compensation clearly before being offered a position is a scam. Corconcepts is NOT a place to go if you are desperate for a job and young. Do not be fooled by the awful pop music and "hey let's have fun" atmosphere. This place feeds on young, hungry, and unemployed kids (mostly under 25) that can barely scrap a suit together for the Cult like atmosphere that is enforced everyday. In simple terms, if you work for Corconcepts, you will loose more than you gain.
