No assistance
I was invited to attend an interview at the Core Elements office on Sheikh Zayed Road regarding a job application, I have made hundreds, though no specific information could be given as to which company or position that it was I applied to, also a fee of 150 AED was required. Asking for a fee to register with an employment agency, to my knowledge, is illegal in the UAE

Fraud Advertisement
I was a victim of Core Elements fraud attempt for collecting money. They put ads for Engineers for Consultancy group and calls for Interview. They collects 150 Dhms as Registration fees. After a week I received an automated regret mail from them. This is repeated every week.
When I told friends about it many of them too were cheated by them. So keep away from them. Their office is at Crowne Plaza, Sheikh Zayed road in Dubai

Employment agency scam
Please take caution when dealing with this company. I applied for a position that was advertised with Core Elements. I was contacted by them and asked to come in for an interview. Upon my arrival I was whisked into an interview which took all but 10 minutes and then advised that to put my CV through to the prospective employer I needed to be a member which costs 150 dirhams. I did not feel comfortable about this but paid anyway and was advised I would hear from them in the next week.
One week later I received an email advising that there is no update as yet and they shall be in touch. Two weeks later I received the identical email. So I called and left a message and received no response. So I called again, and again, and again...still with no response.
So I sent a quite firm email detailing specific queries as to why I am not receiving calls or having any of my calls returned for that matter. With which I received, guess what !!! A generic management email that did not in any way respond to my queries that I had itemised.
I tried calling again and refused to get off the phone until I spoke to a Manager. Who advised me that he would speak to "the team" about my application (which was now 1 1/2 months ago). To which I advised that there is no way that the position would still be available and he advised he would call and email to update in the near future. I advised that I am registered with other agencies (who do not charge) and I am constantly being short listed for interviews and or kept up to date; however do not hear a single word from Core Elements unless it is a generic letter which in all probability is being sent out to any person has a query or requires an update.
It has now been 3 weeks and no word from Core Elements. Thus it is time to take this further to protect others from having their vulnerability of looking for employment abused.
