This is a follow up to a complaint I registered earlier. Seach for Barnes and Noble -- Online. As I mentioned earlier I downloaded the EReader and purchased several Ebooks. Two of those were corrupted books and could not be read. I forwarded emails to customer service through their website. After three days, I finally received a reply only to be told that they couldn't resolve it by email and I needed to call. Well, I had already called two days after I filed the emails with the company to see if I could get it straightened out by phone. I waited 35 minutes before giving up. Tonight I called again and had to wait 70 plus minutes to get through to a customer service rep. He was very nice but told me that neither book would available for weeks as they had to go back to productions for correction. I asked for a refund and was told that he would refund my money and it should be in my account in the next 24 hours. I will follow up to this complaint with information on actually how long it took me to get my refund.

Just be aware that they do send out corrupted Ebooks and it will take days and perserverance to get it straightened out. Don't even bother with the email system, it's useless. Call the 800 number but be prepared to wait well over an hour before you get customer service.
