I called LON (the owner) at Corvair Underground on AUGUST 3, 1999 and placed an order for a part listed in his catalog. The part was a set of trailing arms with disc brake conversion completed, "ready to bolt on". The cost of these parts totaled $1390.00 with core charges. Corvair Underground withdrew $700.00 on August 7, 1999 to "get the order started". I made SEVERAL inquiries regarding my order, was given the run around and every excuse you could imagine. Finally on September 23rd, 1999 The final payment of 692.00 was withdrawn from my account. After another 3-4 lies delivered to me directly from the owner, I finally recieved a package on OCTOBER 9, 1999. Corvair Underground had sent me a BARE set of trailing arms. NO bearings, no brakes, nothing! I called the owner a spoke to him directly again. He said he thought he had sent all the other parts to me already! I told him I ordered a COMPLETED SET ready to bolt on. I spent another 31.00 sending these worthless parts back to him. On Nov 6 Lon tells me "everything is here I will ship it Monday". On Nov 9, he tells me he has to build a skid to ship it to me. Nov 11, he told me he took Wed off work to build a skid to ship them. On Nov 16 he tells me "he has to purchase boxes to ship them in". Nov 17 he tells me they are going out tomorrow morning & he would send me the tracking numbers".

This is the 18th, I have recieved no tracking numbers, no emails. I don't know if the owner Lon has Alzeheimers or is just absolutely pathetic, but this is absolutelt the worst customer service, the owner is a bonified LIAR. If I didn't need these parts I would have cancelled the order and got a refund. AT this point I'm ready to buy a plane ticket to personally visit this worthless piece of shit, and his business. AVOID THIS LIAR AT ALL COSTS... use Clarks Corvair or even call a junkyard before you call this LIAR! If I lived just around the corner from him I guarantee I would nevber have waited this long. Absolutely a business that needs SHUT DOWN!
