ORDERED 2 CORVETTE IPOD ADAPTERS ON 12/16/2010 ONE FOR OUR CUSTOMER AND ONE FOR BACKUP... AFTER INSTALLING THE UNIT THE CUSTOMER STATED THAT HIS XM TUNER LOCKED UP- .. SEVERAL HOURS LATER, AND AFTER SWAPING THE MODULE WE CALLED THERE TECH DEPARTMENT .. THEY DETERMIND THAT WE HAVE THE WRONG UNIT AND WERE INSTRUCTED TO SEND THE UNITS BACK... WE SHIPPED THE UNITS ON JAN 10 2011.. WELL WITHIN THERE 30DAY POLICY.. WE GOT THE REPLACEMENTS ON FEB 3 2011.. WE INSTALLED THE REPLACEMENT ON THE 4TH AND WE STILL HAD THE SAME ISSUE... WE ORDERED THE FACTORY MEDIA LINK FROM GM AND IT WORKED PERFECT... AT A LOSS OF AROUND 165.00 PLUS 6 HRS OF LABOR... WHAT A GREAT EXPERENCE?????
ON jan312011 we ordered gmx550 ...we got the shipped the wrong product .So I called customer service they accused us of lying and had us take pictures of the box and email for them to verify.. they send the correct units, we receive 3 days later.. and then they charge us for the wrong parts that were shipped originally.. after we installed the gmx550 it did nont unlock as stated .. after talking to tech the stated that the factory nav needs to be flashed by the dealer at an additional cost of 115.00... which means that the unit is not 100% compatable.. even after we got the programming done.. we still had problems getting the video from the ipod to work... we got it to work sometimes.. but of course that is not acceptable by the customer so we removed it and lost the sale and the programming fees... I will not recommand your product to any of our customers and I hope everyone that reads this will think twice about purchasing any of your products ... and when it comes to customer service I would give them nothing but a ZERO... specially "Brent" he whats to charge us 15% retocking fee for returning their non fuctional product..
