ive lived here for 1yr and 6 months, and it has been a horrible experience with the management groups, not only do they change the lease almost every month but they lied to me about every service included in my rent. when i signed my lease they garunteed that the gym would be available 24hrs a day 7 days a week, and for over 1 year the gym was not available after 10pm, and not to mention e very peice of equipment inside the gym was destroyed and all of the equipment inopperable. The regulations at the pool are also outrageous, they notoriously kick RESIDENTS out of the pool by 10pm, which is understandable there is a sign posted saying the pool closes at 10, but they make no attempt to remove NON RESIDENTS from the pool after 10pm, almost EVERY NIGHT of my entire lease term there were underage kids and non residents at the pool after hours until the early am, which was never addressed. The apartment manager Stacy Williams has no regard for her residents and abuses her rights as manager with discrimination. for instance, my lease says they allow subletting, now they say they dont allow that, which again the landlord has the right to change things as necessary, but they have agreed to allow subletting or take over of a lease to other residents on the property, but have discriminated against me to do so. i am a student at University Texas and had to move in august to go school, with 2 months left on my lease and will now allow me to have a take over lease to make sure my rent is payed and etc. but they have told 3 other seperate residents that they were allowed to do so. this is unacceptable. Stacy knows im a student and knows the conditions of my living arangments and is forcing me to take the hits on my renting credit. She seems to be racialy discrimatory against anyone who is not white, and this has been noted by serveral residents of many races and religions. The trash service is stated to pick up trash at 9am, but your not allowed to put the trash out before 8:50am and if your trash is not picked up a charge of $25 is made. for over 1 year i have noticed that the trash guy picks up the trash at 8:45am, 15 minutes before its due and does not make a 2nd round. every single one of my neighboors in my building has had problems with this policy. if your looking for peace of mind then do not rent at this apartment complex. location is excellent, and the grounds are normally well kept, but this is all visual deception. The volleyball court sand has not once been changed since my lease began over 1yr ago. On serveral occasions they have put a sticker inside my mailbox disallowing my mail to be recieved. This is harrasement they implemented to bypass your knowledge of mailed / dropped letters from the apartment complex. I have never been treated so badly by any apartment complex i have ever stayed at. Be careful of what you agree to when/if you decide to live here. Do not trust the lease agreement you sign, every single month they have made addendums to the lease agreement denying everything you were promised at time of signing. There are many other locations in plano far better equiped to suit your needs. Furthermore, plano tx is a premium location to live and you would expect premium treatment from the complex, this is not the case. Ventalation inside the apartments is horrible, in my one bedroom my electric bill was outrageously high due to inadequate ventalation and air conditioning within the apartment, you cannot get around this. they also do not have ceiling fans in any of the living areas. I have recently filed a lawsuit against the complex for discrimination and abuse. They will do anything at any cost to screw you over and collect their money. Also after talking with the main management group it is aparent that they do not have any concerns with the way the property is being managed and made no attempt to reconcile the situation or to assist me in any helpful maner. I have had no complaints or lease violations at any time for any reason and this is unacceptable. Please do yourself a favor and take the extra time to find somewhere more concerned with suiting your neeeds
