Company contacted me through Craig's List. Claimed they were a bulk mail forwarding/distribution company and need to have someone in the DC Metro area to ship items an mail to for forwarding. Offer pay of $3, 600/mo., plus advance funds for costs (shipping and what-not). Then they overnight checks payable to you from an account of a reputable business. The routing and account numbers are legit, but the checks are worthless (fraud). For anyone even attempting to deposit one of these checks, they are no good and that individual could be arrested for fraud. Snce the first checks they sent, out of the blue, I have never resonded, yet they have sent additional checks. I don't know how they make any money but they must some how because they are still at it. The telephone numbers don't work and the address is ficticious. The tell-tale sign is the first communication is in rlatively good English, from there it goes downhill clearly demonstration English is not their first language. I have alrady reorted them to the FTC.
