I booked a room for two nights through Expedia. When I arrive at the hotel about 3:00 PM I found out they did not allow pets. On the main page from Expedia there was no mention of the no pets.
The hotel said they have had that problem with Expedia in the past. They have refused to refund my money. Expedia won't refund my money because the hotel is claiming it.
I should have been able to cancel the reservation, because it was before four or five. Also they should not have to keep the money for two days, at the most just one.
About the first of August, I contacted the Country Inn & Suites home office and talked with a Luanne. She gave me a tracking #2350398 and said someone would be back in contact with me.
Not have heard anything from anyone, I called Luanne. She said the hotel won't refund my money and she can't do anything about it. They just don't care - Corporate or the hotel.
I am boing to contact the BBB in Pensacola and for the corporate office. Also the newspaper in Pensacola and anyone else I can think of.
