Sir,
BAD SERVICE AT COURTS MAMMOTH, BANDAR BARU KUALA SELANGOR BRANCH.
As per above title, I would like to address some issue regarding your worker and the management at the stated branch.
I am a costumer of yours since 2006 and I had bought a total of RM 13, 000.00 +++ of various home appliances and furniture by credit and cash since then.
There was 1 item which I had bought from Courts Mammoth ( SONY Mini HiFi, MHC-GN1100 D ) in 2007 had some operation problem / error. The mentioned item have 4 year warranty and I had sent it to Courts Mammoth at Bandar Baru Kuala Selangor Branch for repairing on December 2009. During the interface, your staff there was quite rude and refusing to send it. They even asked for transport fees and service charges as they say” If U don’t want to pay, we won’t send it for repairing”. After arguing with them, they said that they will proceed on the servicing matter without taking any chargers.
On March 2010, I received a call mentioning about my Mini HiFi which had been repaired and ready to be collected. When I went to Courts Mammoth at Bandar Baru Kuala Selangor, I was shocked when your staff said the item is at Kepong and they won’t bring it here (Bandar Baru Kuala Selangor) because I didn’t pay on what they asked (as for the service chargers), they mentioned to me that I need to get it by my own from Kepong. Due to confusion occurred to me on that situation, I went back without saying anything else.
Later, after 1 week, my daughter went to Kuala Selangor to clarify on the issue with your staff and if possible to retrieve the HiFi. Once again, your staff was quite rude in answering my daughter’s question and refusing to give it. The only difference now was that they said the HiFi is at Kuala Selangor Branch but they will not give it until myself went there and pay the service chargers as per instruction from the Manager & Headquarters. Some more, they (your staff) informed my daughter that I promised them to pay for the service chargers.
Dear Sir / Madam, I am really confused why there is so many problems with handling of this matter. My Mini HiFi is still under warranty and I believe that there is no need to pay for the chargers as per your staff claims. From the 1st installment in 2006 until now, I had been paying without any lateness. Please check my records as for your info. Is this a way to treat your loyal costumer? My Mini HiFi is still under Courts Mammoth possession and not yet returned to me.
Due to transportation and time problem, I can only come once a month to Kuala Selangor as to pay my installment. And this month (April 2010), I did went there and asked about my HiFi and this time there was no answer but same rudeness repeating from your staff.
As per your staff, I admire your previous staff (batch 2006 / 2007) like Masbudi and Vikneswary at the mentioned branch where they are really polite in talking and dealing with costumers. They are competent to handle customer complaints. But for your current staff, I am sad to say that they are problematic staff and lack of moral attitude.
Now, I have some question that I need to clarify with you:
a/ When can I have my Mini HiFi back?
b/ Do I need to pay extra charges even if my item still under warranty?
c/ What is the condition of Mini HiFi? Had it been repaired? If the HiFi was already at Kuala Selangor, is it kept in good condition or they just throw it in some store?
d/ May I know what kind of after sales services that been provided by Courts Mammoth to customers which consume your product?
Please clarify as soon as possible.
