Rip off
I purchased a pair of heated gloves for $350 from cozywinters.com on December 16, 2010. They worked moderately well -- NOT great and not anwhere near what their website claimed --for the first four or five times, then stopped working altogether. By then, it was outside the 30 day return period. I sent the gloves back for repair/replacement on January 27, 2011. It is now March 15th, 2011, almost two full months later. The winter is over, and I have yet to receive the gloves back.
I spoke with a customer service rep, who told me she couldn't do anything, that I had to e-mail the supervisor/owners. I did so and received no reply.
I then called & spoke to a supervisor. I explained that I was not happy with the performance of the gloves even when they were working, that they had broken after only a few uses, and that I was not happy with the product or the amount of time CozyWinters has had them while awaiting repair. I explained that I had gotten hardly any use out of the products this winter and that since it is now over, I wouldn't be able to test them again until next winter, when they would be completely out of the manufacturer warranty.
The supervisor was arrogant and argumentative and basically told me I was out of luck. This company has awful customer service and sells expensive and defective products to consumers without standing by them. There are several sites online which show that many other consumers have had these problems. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and if other people do maybe this scam of a company will be put out of business.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and am posting as many negative reviews as I can online. So they saved themselves $350 and lost hopefully several future customers. Smart business practice!

Unethical and Steal your money
I purchased heated gloves from Cozy "take your money" Winters.com. Paid 250 bucks because it would help with a medical problem that they advertise in the description. The product failed because they didn’t give proper instructions (now they do) and I was told it was out of warrantee, even though it was their fault it didn’t work and they admitted it. After writing to the management, they agreed to replace the battery. That was 2 month process and since winter ski season is over, we didn’t get to use the product because of that this year. I should have read all the complaints about them before I bought anything from them. The BBB rating is a farce and I will continue to tell everyone how bad this rip of joint is. Hold onto your money because once they get it, it’s gone.

Avoid Cozywinters.com at all costs
I contacted Cozy Winters by email about a product problem. I was called and told to check with the manufacturer which had very good warrantee service and I did. After three attempts with the manufacturer to get a satisfactory product I gave up and called Cozy Winters to ask for a refund since the manufacturer told me I would have to get a refund from them. I was told my 30 day return period had expired and since I had used warrantee “service” I was not eligible for a refund. I was never told at the time of my initial complaint that if I went the warrantee “service” route that I could not then get a refund after 30 days.

They just steal people's money
I purchased an Outdoor Heated Thermo-Kiity Camper and Thermo Cube and had these products shipped to my parents for their outdoor cat's use this winter. They set it up for her (how else can we tell if she will use the product), he set her inside it and near the bed, and she would not use it. She jumped out of the bed the couple of times that he set her in it, and at that point, they picked the bed up, took it back inside, and called me. I informed them that the product had to be free of any hair or dirt and they informed me that the cat was barely near it! They were extra particular about it being in BRAND NEW CONDITION and free of hair and dirt so it could be returned. They packaged it back up in the wrapping and sent it back with the RA code that I received. When they informed me that it was shipped back to them, I thought it was a mistake, only to be told by customer service that the RMA results were unsatisfactory. This is absolutely ridiculous! Do you mean to tell me that if I purchased clothing or furniture from your company, that I basically can not try the product on/out before determining if I like it or not? ..because it is an animal, it's different?? I can fully understand if it is caked with mud and dirt and covered in hair...that is obviously used and not re-sellable. I am very dissatisfied with the poor customer service I received in this matter and the absurd claim that this bed was used. I have ordered several pet items online and in pet stores, and on occassion, have to return the item due to wrong size, etc. (dog bed to be specific) and they did not scrutinize the returned item to such a ridiculous extreme! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and WILL not purchase from them EVER again. Perhaps they should not carry pet products if they hate animals so much. I can see why companies like theirs stay in business...they just steal people's money!
