repairs or replacement
i have purchased a craftsman riding mower from sears this make the second one they have been out here now a dozen times triing to fix this mower but have failed so many times now im having to pay ofr my lawn to be mowed after paying $1600 for it and its doing me no good i have 3 acres each week ot mow and cant do it because it makes my yard look like it has been chewed up by a bunch of goats i have spoken to several people on this subject from sears who has called me but still have yet another appointment on this mower 2 more weeks away so im out more money and dissapointment in sears products i will never buy another mower if htey dont fix this right and am going to cancel my sears card to

Warrentee Department
In May 2008, I purchased a Craftsman riding mower. I am happy with my mower, that is not the issue. The issue is when I called the warrantee department one year later to report a problem and schedule my yearly free tune-up, I was told they no longer do that but I can get 10% off of that service. I argued the obvious issue of spending $330 to get receive 10% off. The whole reason for the extended warrantee for me was this free yearly tune up considering I don't know anything about engines. That's was the selling point... and evidently it was the only selling point. I had been lied to I guess to make a sell. I chose to purchase from Sears because of their size and I thought their reputation. This is the second issue I have had since April when I contacted the warrantee department about the battery. They were going to send me one and I asked if I could pick on up from the store. They checked availability at my store. When I got to the store it was another story. They said no they have to come to my house. We went on and on and it was when the store manager basically called my a liar on the phone to the warrantee department did I put my foot down and told the manager exactly how it was going to happen in front of other customers. I did leave the store with my new battery. I know I have been lied to and I feel I have been ripped off by Sears. I am wondering if this is common practice and if its just blamed on communication between the store and the warrantee department.
