As a recent college graduate I was looking for work. I searched craigslist and applied to job#452843411 "seeking full time event planner"(10/18/07) I went for the interview and got the job. I was told I will be paid as an independent contractor for the first 3 months and then a regular employee. I WAS NEVER PAID. After 8 days, (Oct 27-Nov 8/07) The owner told me it was not working out; I wasn't drumming up enough business, and that I was fired. I returned the Blackberry they gave me for company use and was told I will get paid.I have not been paid; when I called asking about the money, he would curse me telling me there was no money to pay me or that it was in the mail.

My parents called several times, he and his wife do not call back. They put the answer machine on when they see my number on caller ID. I want my money, I worked for it! He owes me $787.50 (52 1/2 hrs). I was being paid $15/hour. I'm sure he has done this to others because he is so verbally abusive when I ask for my money.
