Approximately, three years ago I spent or shall I say wasted, $15, 000 dollars cash, my own money, for a once in a life time dream and years of long awaited, WHITE, beautiful teeth, with all new crowns and bridges. This is what I told Dr. David Mackenzie, of ("Creative Dimensions Dentistry" in Castro Valley, CA, ) asked for and expected. Being naive or maybe just plain stupid, I trusted Dr. Mackenzie to choose the color of the new teeth, my having been shown no options or choices from any color chart, I thought I would have at least received decent, sparkly white's. What I got was B-1, before bleaching color. On me, and in natural light, indoor lighting or even photographs this shade appears to be a dull, sort of grayish, yellow white and totally antiquated with the new trend in whiter, brighter smiles. What's worse, since relocating to Arizona from California, my current new Dentist informed me much to my shock that I needed a new crown and two new bridges, due to previous inadequate dental work. Even with my fastidiousness about brushing and flossing twice a day, having cleanings, check-ups every three to four months, my Dentist commented that these teeth should have lasted considerably longer than three years. This makes me feel ill and disgusted. Unfortunately, I have no recourse. Okay, ignorance is not an excuse, but
when I spend that kind of money, I expected to get what I asked for. Well that's $15, 000 down the drain that I will never see the likes of again, and I have to live with it! I try not to dwell, but when I look at my teeth I find myself becoming depressed and angry, I haven't been able to get past it. Of course, "Creative Dimensions Dentistry" website proudly displays photos of folks smiling away with their perfect, pearly whites, touting all the wonderful work they can do, this is absolutely "NOT" what I got. Dissatisfied in this case is truly an understatement.
