Is trying to collect a 63$ Comcast bill from when I was Stationed in California in the US Navy from 7 Months ago. I have made over 30 phone calls to 1-800-Comcast only to be transferred to the local Comcast office and told that they can't process a payment for California. California is the *ONLY* State that has its own billing system and I need to call them directly, after being transferred around 100 times writing down over 20 Long Distance Numbers that place me in every state but California I gave up. I can't for the life of me contact California Comcast where I was stationed. On top of that I left the military and made a appointment for them to pickup my cable modem the day I was leaving the base and a time schedule before I left and they never showed claiming that they didn't have a appointment of it. So my cable modem sits in my old room with my room mate where they refuse to turn on service for him because I haven't paid my bill or returned my cable modem. He offered to return it and told them he ever heard on Speaker phone the appointment being setup and they refuse to let him return it saying I have to do it in person and I have to pay my bill. He has tried to get a direct number to them besides 1-800-COMCAST and they won't give him another number so I can contact them to pay my bill.

So I called CRED PROTECTIONS ASSOC today and was told to call another number asked for my Social Security Number and then told that since I was on Speaker Phone *Since I'm currently Studying for a Computer Test and busy turning pages* She ended the Call after saying "I can't release information while on Speaker Phone, so I will end this Call" and immediately hung up without giving me the chance to say ok I'll switch. I refuse to call back after being treated so poorly from people that are ruining my credit report and refuse to work with someone they are trying to get a payment from. $63 is not a big deal but after putting as much time into getting this bill paid and to be treated as rudely as I have been calling all these numbers trying to get a hold of Comcast directly and then there chronicle's at this Credit Agency is that much worse.
