This company is a joke. I should have known that when the first two questions the "Counselor" asked me was what race I was and did I have any hispanic background. What does that have to do with my financial difficulties? What does my race or lack of hispanic blood have to do with whether the change in my job/salary due to the downfall of the economy have to do with whether or not I need assistance with my mortgage? After a whole hour (of my valuable time), the "Counselor" advised me on ways in which I could afford to pay my home loan. Cut your grocery bill in half, use cheap washing powder, don't even eat out once a month...it was such a joke. Why even send me the letter stating how they can help me with my home mortgage payment? They should just say..."we can help you by telling you how to spend what little money you make." Then, I would have had the option of saying..."Thanks, but no thanks" to wasting an hour of my life when you can't really help me. It was so disappointing...such a let down!
