Lost Card
I have called twice to report my card lost, well the first time your customer service person never entered the info. It was suppose to come overnight and it did not, so I called back and that is when I found out it was not reported. The man that helped me said he would overnight it to me next day, two days have passed and well of course I still have not recieved my card. Do you put your employees through training or just throw them on the phone, please contact me to descuss this matter and I would like a credit increase for my trouble and I have made three payments within my first pay period. That is the least you can do sense you are chargeing me $25.00 for a new card.

Thanks

POOR CUSTOMER SVC
I RECEIVED A CREDIT CARD FROM CREDIT ONE BANK. I WAS NOT HAVING ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM UNTIL I GOT MARRIED IN 12/07 AND REQUESTED A NEW CARD WITH MY MARRIED NAME IN 01/08. I HAVE DONE WHAT THEY HAVE ASKED OF ME INCLUDING CUTTING UP MY CARD & MAILING IT WITH A COPY OF THE MARRIAGE LICENSE/PHOTO ID BACK TO CREDIT ONE BANK AND HAVE FAXED THE DOCS 4 TIMES. IT IS NOW 07/08 AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY CARD. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUN AROUND & AM SICK AND TIRED OF IT. I WOULD TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 2 DAYS TO PROCESS MY NEW CARD THEN IT WOULD BE RUSHED OUT IMMEDIATELY & I WOULD HAVE TO BE HOME TO SIGN FOR IT. CALL BACK TOMORROW TO VERIFY THE FAX WAS RECEIVED. I DID JUST THAT AND WAS TOLD THEY DONT RUSH THE CARDS AND I WOULD NOT NEED TO BE HOME TO SIGN FOR THE CARD. ARE THEY GOING TO PAY ME FOR THE DAY OF WORK I REQUESTED OFF ALREADY?! NOPE! DONT THINK SO! THEY MUST NOT CARE ABOUT KEEPING THEIR WORD JUST AS LONG AS THEY GET THEIR MONEY FROM US PEOPLE ONCE A MONTH. WHEN I SPOKE WITH THE SUPERVISOR ALL HE COULD SAY WAS "IM SO SORRY. I DONT KNOW WHY THEY WOULD SAY THAT!" WELL TO ME THAT REFLECTS POORLY ON HIM AS HE IS A SUPERVISOR AND COULD DO NOTHING TO "FIX" THE SITUATION EXCEPT TO TELL ME I WOULD RECEIVE MY NEW CARD IN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS. VERY VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Fees after I closed account
I called and canceled my credit one card 4 months ago ..the operator told me the balance was paid in full... the next month I got a bill for $4.25 so I called them they said they would take it off. The next month collections called and I explained it to them... they checked notes and said they would take it off... the same thing happened 2 more months and today a man called from there and was very rude and wanted $98.56... he said he didn't know why they told me that but it was money I owed and had to pay it... well after fighting with him for a few minutes I asked him if I pay this will you stop calling me and he said you'll never hear from us again... so I paid it...

This company should be put out if business!!!

fees charged after account closed
Paid 2 credit cards off in full and canceled both cards due to their fees for online payments $6.95. The agent tells me that it may take up to 30 to process the closed account and I may have other fees attached (like my monthly annual fee, paid monthly). If these people charge me a fee after I closed my acccounts I'm getting an attourney. ********CONSUMERS BEWARE***********

Dishonest Practice
On April 24 I had just finished a stressful session with this organization. I first talk to a customer service rep and after going no where with her I asked for a supervisor. I got a reply that the supervisors were all 'taking calls". I told her I'd gladly wait. She also could find no record of a payment I had made on April 2nd which was sent to them electronically and verified with my bank. I never got a supervisor but this person removed the late fee.

A few days later, April 30, I received another statement from Credit One slapping me with another late fee. I called again and demanded to speak to a supervisor immediately. Again I was given the run around reply that they were 'all busy taking calls". I again said I'd wait and finally spoke to one. This time the "supervisor" said my record showed a payments received on April 17. This is 15 days after my bank had sent it to them. I asked her why the customer rep had no record of this payment on April 24 and she said she had no idea.

An investigation with my bank showed that the payments was sent to Credit One on April 2nd for the April 10th due date. My bank said that Credit One received the transaction electronically the same day but refused to do anything with it. Credit One, my bank says, sat on it until the 17th thus causing me to be eligible for another $30 late fee.

So bascically Credit One received the payment in plenty of time but hung onto it so they could tack on more fees !!!

outrageous charges, fraudulent billing
Does anybody know where I should have this disgusting bank served? A point of service for Credit One Bank is what I need. I am going to sue them in small claims court for the $840 (and rising) in FEES they have charged me because I sent back one of their cards..never signed for. .never used!! After it arrived, I saw that it had a $200 credit limit (a $200 credit limit!!!) and a $75 yearly fee. I called them immediately and told them I did not want it.. I sent it back. Months went by and I started to get phone calls demanding payment. Then the bills started! Fees upon fees upon fees! All compounded from the $75 yearly fee I did not pay!!

please let me know where I can sue them. I already know how to file a small claims lawsuit. Thanks!

Identity theft!
I am a victim of identity theft. Credit One Bank left a message about an acct of which I had no knowledge on March 19. I called the fraud dept but was only able to leave a message. Days later no one had returned my call. I called customer service and again reported that the acct was opened fraudulently. I was told an affidavit would be sent within 10 days. It never arrived. I called twice again before someone returned my calls.

This man refused to listen to me. He talked over me, raised his voice, cut me off. I told him I had a police report... he said he didn't care about the police. I requested all records pertaining to the account, my right as a victim of identity theft - he cut me off. I asked to speak with his supervisor, he refused. I asked for his telephone extension, he refused. He then said he'd get back with me and hung up on me!

He called back about 20 minutes later, more conciliatory, saying he had emailed his supervisor that I wanted to speak with her. Then he proceeded on a line of hostile questioning and badgering, implying I or my husband made the charges despite the fact that the acct was opened using an address and phone different from mine, that I had a security alert with the credit bureaus and had placed a dispute with the credit bureau about this account and the address associated with it! He made thinly veiled threats that WalMart cameras would have an image of who made the charges there and that this is a felony. It was a very disturbing exchange that has me still shaking mad days later. I am the victim and this man with Credit One Bank was victimizing me again!

This man also failed to identity me adequately on either call and could have been talking with anyone. Interestingly, this is an account with a $300 limit that was apparently charged up to $1800, a sure indicator this bank's security efforts are minimal at best!

Fees
This is the worst credit card i've had in my life. I've made all but 2 payments ontime and now im 175 over my limit. Last month for no reason they sent me back my payment and charged me $30 for what they did. I have like 3 $30 late fees and over the limit fees because of the returned payment they did. When this is all payed off my account is definitely being cancelled.

No return calls regarding stolen card!
I contacted them back in November when I discovered, upon reviewing my online statement, that someone had committed fraud using my card. I called them immediately and 5 times again to no avail. Yesterday on Feb 8th, 4 months later, someone finally called me from the Fraud Department who was completely unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and she could care less that I was a victim of any fraud violation. Not only that, she placed the fraudulent charges back on my account because "I didn't respond in a timely manner" in the middle of the holiday season (letter dated 12/15!!) when I was out of the country! Are you kidding me? Why is it the victim continues to work their ass off trying to clear someone else's mistake? In the middle of all of this, my husband's mother passed away during the holidays and when I shared this with them explaining my already stressed out situation, no apology or anything was offered. This clearly reflects their total and complete lack of professionalism let alone humanitarianism.

When this happened to me years ago with American Express, it was cleared up within 24 hours and their CSR's were the epitome of true and caring employees. Shame on Credit One. I hope they go out of business before the end of 2008.
This company will NEVER survive. One can only pray...
