Last week we recieved a notice that one of our accounts had bounced. It is an account that is never used except for certain expenditures so we don't keep very much money in it. When we investigated, we found that Cricket had billed our account $5.00. When we called Cricket, they claimed that they have no idea what the charge was for, nor who authorized it. They refused to refund the money claiming that it's a police problem. Another phone call to the bank confirmed that not only did Cricket charge us the initial $5.00, but they had also "tested" our account by submitting a request for ONE dollar twice before the five dollars went through. So my account is out seven dollars plus the bounce fees.

Apparently this type of fraud happens quite regularly with their company. There is a complete section on their website explaining what you should do if you are the victim of unauthorized charges on your credit/debit card. A word to the wise...NEVER EVER USE A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD TO PAY YOUR BILL WITH CRICKET..AND NEVER PUT IT ON FILE. Only God knows who had access to our information and only God knows how many other people they ripped off since the charge was so low. Imagine how much they could have taken if I DID have money in that account. Five dollars here and there wouldn't have registered with us on our other accounts.

I never in my life experience such poor customer service. I'm not one to just complain about anything, but this is a legitament. I had lost my phone returning back from vacation. My first repsonse was too try and locate it and when I could not find it, I tried calling customer service to put a hold on my phone. Well, calling customer service did not help out much at all. All I received was the run around with the automated system saying they are experiencing a high call volume. I tried this at least for 3 day and got the same result. I went online to retrieve my numbers I had on my phone a service I was paying for. Unbeknownst to me, Cricket expired my information. Frustated and fed up with Cricket, I went to one of the local stores and of course they could not help me either. I had changed my plan before going on vacation which should not have affected my "backup" numbers. The Cricket representative that helped me change my plan and also my backups.

Cricket as this point has given me a shitty taste in my mouth and I don't care for their services anymore. I've tried locating their coporate office but having a hard time doing that as well. What kind of operations is this company doing and where do customer get legitamate complaints heard?

i bought & paid for 3 cell phones & 1 month service over the phone with cricket. when i recieved them they were refurbished phones which they didnt inform me (the packing slip did)but i said "oh well" then couldnt get them activated, so cricket said take them to the store where they also couldnt do it. i called back & discovered i needed tri band phones & they sent phones with a kansas city mo. area code when i live in illinois. i was told they will never work to send them back at my shipping expense & i cant get the activation fees back when the gosh darn phones couldnt even be activated!!! plus it will take 30-45 days to even get back what little money will be left. all i got out of a supervisor was "sorry but there is no complaint numbers or adresses. so i will be in touch with small claims the attorney general & thbetter business bureau!! stay away! its misrepresentation & fraud!! what a joke of a company!

What a nightmare dealing with Cricket customer service. After being hung up on 3 times, I finally reached a supervisor who had no authority. Cell phone will not originate text messaging, the phone can only respond to texts received. Criket answer, sorry about that can't help you over the phone, take it in to the Cricket store. Take to the Cricket store, sorry, looks like your phone has a lock of some kind on it. Can't help you! Billing date incorrect. Sorry, we can't help with that. I am just frustrated with the whole cricket system. It is one of the most poorly run companies I have encountered yet. I am very dissapointed in them as a company. Of course, this problem is on my daughters phone. She has issues with huge phone bills and she thought that she would have control over phone bill with Criket. My cell phone is through AT&T. Thank God for reliable cell phone service.

I am a single mom raising two kids & i am not saying I have never been late on my bill before, but i always call & let them know that the bill is going to be late. I have had my phone for around 3 years (close to 4) & in that time I have been late 3 times. I have 3 phones on my account the bill is almost 200.00 dollars. I called 7 told them that I would pay my bill on the 14 on June the bill was due on the 10th they give a 3 day grace BUT when I called they told me the phone would not be shut off if paid on the 14th needless to say I went to pay the bill with my credit card at 9:00 AM on the 14th & no phone service. I feel that if someone has been with a company as long as I have & has 3 phones & only been late 3 times & calls to let them know the bill will be paid They should at least give me time to pay the bill (like to Noon) because most banks don't open till 9:00 AM...
