Well, I didn't think that something like this could happen to me and it did!! I don't kow who in this world haven't had bad luck in the past but it sure seems like there isn't a light at the end of the tunnel for me any time soon. I sumitted some online applications to try to get a loan for a car and I waited for several weeks and still no calls. Then one day out of the clear blue skies, a man by the name of Steve Mayfair called me from Crimson Lending Group. He explained to me that he was a "third party" company that tried to help people like me get loans because of past credit problems. I knew that something was wrong but I didn't listen to my instinct because the loan seemed too good to be true. Now who would let you get a loan at 6% and not pay it until several months later?? Did I listen to the voice in the back of my head? All of the alarms went off and I still didn't listen!! Steve Mayfair of Crimson lending group faxed me some informations regarding loan amount and repayments. The only catch was having me wire 2346.00 to a lady in Toronto-Ontario Canada and I asked him why it was to Canada. He informed me that the lender is based out of Canada and he is from Illinois. I then proceeded to asked him if his company was a fraud and he said that the laws in Illinois prohibited it and that Crimson would be liable for all of it.
Why did I still not listen?? I sent via money gram to Canada and then called to check to see if money was deposited the next day to my account but it wasn't. I called and asked and they said that I needed to send another 2346.00 or get my money back and I chose the refund of my money. I called and they directed me to a Richard Smith (I know generic name huh) in customer service and he told me that I was going to have to wait until Friday to get my money back. Wow, I called again and the number is no longer in service and the website is down! Be Careful because if it is too good to be true, then it just might IS too good to be true. Lesson learn because I just lost all of my money that I saved up for six months. I hope that these guys get what they deserve in the end. I hope that this help others in my shoes and PLEASE, if it's not BBB accredited, do not believe them!! CRIMSON LENDING GROUP is a SCAM!! BE CAREFUL!!!
