Bad ASS Company to Work for
This company sucks I use to work for Sam's Club as a demostration specialist and LOVED my job until the retarded Wal-Mart & Sam's Club owners (corporates) decided to make the stupid decision to go with CROSSMARK (the third party) that WalMart originally has been going with. Do to this decision in January 2010 over 12, 000 demostration associates lost their jobs, know that Sam's Club stated that they would let us apply for jobs with them or re-apply to work for CROSSMARK. The club that I work in only kept ONE Employee that was re-hired. I applied and was hired on with CROSSMARK, know this that I got paid approx. $2.0o less with Sam's Club but worked more hours thus MADE MORE MONEY. CrossMark has dumb rules that they want you to follow...like dress code wearing a baseball cap instead for the MORE SANITARY hair-net, I would not like to get a hair in my food. Our District manager for the region is a person whom has a damn chip on their shoulder, downgrading you instead of treating you like the adult you are...and if you try to make contact with CROSSMARK DO NOT EXPECT A PHONE CALL for you are only a NUMBER!!!

Retaliation
I complained about being racially harassed on the job by my retail supervisor and this same supervisor was trying to force me to talk to him after I complained. I lodged my complaint with the district supervisor and got the silent treat for five days until I sent a second letter to this retail supervisor only for her to respond that she was in the field. When the disrict supervisor did contact me it was only to intimidate and harass me to doing what she wanted me to do and I am the victim.
This company cares nothing for its employees as a whole and its a disgrace to good working class citizens.
This district supervisor threatened to fire me if I did not comply to her intimidation and harassment, I did not comply because it was unlawful and I would have been subjected to further abuse by the retail supervisor and district supervisor.
The next day the district supervisor called me on the phone with the retail supervisor on the phone and she stated we accept your resignation and I never gave one and they fired me bacause I wanted to file a formal complaint with Crossmark of racial harassment. I was harassed, assaulted, racially harassed, text harassed, retaliated against and fired.
This is against the law on so many levels.

Retaliation
I was assaulted on the job and racially harassed by my CrossMark retail supervisor.
I reported it immediately after it happen to the district supervisor by webmail and five days went by and she did not respond to my complaint. I sent her a second letter only to be retaliated against and she threatened to fire me if I took time off to deal with the situation. I contacted HR because I wanted to file a formal complaint of racial harassment and retaliation and I was denied that right and the next day I was fired. I know my civil rights was violated and we cannot allow the abuse of authority to continue on these jobs. Employees have to deal with the after math of emotional distress after being treated unfair and then fired. Its time to fight back with the same law these employers hide behind and show them to be in the wrong.

Do not go to work for this company! My daughter took a job with Crossmark and was told when she was hired that she would have fulltime hours but never in the 2 years she worked for them has she worked a full week. She took this job to earn extra money while attending college and when her hours didn't pick up she held on to the job due to the economy. She never missed a day and even worked holidays without complaint or extra pay. When she was moved up to manager she thought her pay would increase but she found out that the new workers she was training were being hired in at a much higher rate than she was earning. When she questioned this she was told that they don't give raises. Many days she had offered to work extra hours to keep demos from being cancelled but rather than pay her to do them the demos were thrown in the trash. I wonder if the companies that hire Crossmark to do these jobs are aware that they aren't being done? All of the leftover food is thrown in the trash, such a waste. There is no one to contact when you need to discuss any problems you may have. My daughter has had it! Recently she was notified that her and others pay was being cut. These people nit pick and complain constantly and you never receive any thanks.
