I would like to report and warn other business owners that are considering moving to Cox Communication Business Services to be aware that Cox Communications without warning will time to time change their assigned static ip addresses. Cox Communications has changed our twice in six months. The change of ip address has the unintended consequences of costing the business thousands upon thousands of dollars and hours and hours to change all remote location devices to match the new static ip address. i.e. Time Clocks.
I have communicated four times in writing with Cox Communications and only on the fourth time did I receive a telephone call from a customer care caring non technical person that said they were sorry that I was displeased. I have asked for a solution that I would be willing to pay. To date no response.
